Reply to letters that reached at Maktab-e-Tashayyo Pak HQs By: Salman Alvi RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: Central Spokesman for Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan responded to letters reached at the headquarters of Maktab-e-Tashayyo Pakistan, TNFJ, from some azadaran and founders of majalis regarding the government ban on religious gatherings. The text of spokesman reply-letter is as under: “Assalamo Alaikum Ya Ali Madad Your letter addressed to Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi received with thanks. As you know that the government has imposed ban on banned groups’ gatherings to curb current terror incidents and thwart terrorism and terrorists. In this regard, the statement released by Federal Information Minister on October 7 created confusion. However, a central delegation of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya on special directives of respected Quaid called the attention of powers that be in interior ministry towards this, as a result of which a clarifying statement by spokesman for the government of Pakistan and Federal Information Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed was published in all national newspapers on October 11 in which he made clear “There is no ban on religious and political gatherings... Only outlawed militants groups working under new names have been barred from holding public meetings.” Therefore, all makatib are holding their programs as usual, as well as chain of majalis and azadari processions from Sadat and Mimineen belonging to Maktab-e-Tashoyyo is also in continuation. Here, I would like to clear that soon after the ban was declared on programs of banned groups on October 8, Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya district Islamabad staged a peaceful demonstration against Sialkot incident in federal capital Islamabad on October 8 Friday without any hurdle. It is needed that Sadat and Momineen display courage and bravery, and avoid self-imposition of the ban against gatherings of banned groups. This saying of Aqa-e-Moosavi is in knowledge of all that neither our forefathers accepted curbs on Azadari, nor do we, and nor our generations would accept the same. Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Hamid Moosavi is in the Medan-e-Amal like ever. Hence, Momineen should declare decisively that they have no link with these banned groups, and hold Azadari programs with satisfaction and courage, and also all people keep in touch with their Markaz practically. May Allah be the protector of Mawaliyaan-e-Haider-e-Karrar (A.S.) and Azadar-e-Mazloom-e-Karbala (A.S.) Wassalam Ma’al Ikram
