Pak: Martyr Day marked paying tributes to Hazrat Mukhtar (R)

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Martyrdom Anniversary of Hazrat Mukhtar Saqafi (R.A.) was observed throughout the country including Azad Kashmir and Northern Areas as Martyr Day on the call of Mukhtar Students Organisation Pakistan.

Ulema, khutaba, waizeen and zakireen while delivering their addresses at Friday congregations and other functions at scores of mosques and Imambargahs highlighted the pious life and great deeds of Mukhtar-e-Aal-e-Muhammad (R.A.) in giving exemplary punishment to the Murderers of Martyrs of Karbala.

Allama Saqlain Ali Bokhari, Allama Matloob Taqi, Allama Tanvir Kazmi, Allama Sadiqi, Allama Qamar Abbas Kazmi, Allama Ikhlaq Hussain Kazmi, Allama Basharat Hussain Imami, Allama Hussain Muqaddasi, Allama Wasif Kazmi, Allama Ansar Kazmi, Allama Mumtaz Hussain Naqvi, Allama Qalab-e-Abbas Khwarzmi, Allama Fakhar Abbas Zahidi, Allama Kifayat Hussain Naqvi, Maulana Saqlain Gardezi, Maulana Ashiq Hussain Nasir while addressing the Martyr Day gatherings at Markazi Shia Masjid Darbar Shah Chan Chiragh, Masjid-e-Kazmia Chaur Harpal, Qasr-e-Abu Talib Mughalabad, Qasr-e-Shabbir Dhoke Syedan, Masjid-e-Jafariya I-9, Haideria Masjid Chittian Hattian, Qasr-e-Imam Musa Kazim I-10, Jamia Masjid Qasr-e-Khadijatul Kubra Tarlai Kalan, Masjid Ahle Bait Gaddowal Wah Cantt., Jamia Masjid Jasol Syedan, Markazi Jamia Masjid Sakhi Shah Nazar Diwan Badshah Syed Kasran, Masjid and Imambargah Jagir Ali Akbar Chak Bagwal, Masjid Isna Ashary Greecy Line, Ali Masjid Dehlialah, Qasr-e-Imam Naqi Pind Sangrial, Imambargah Bait Al-Huzn Alipur Farash, Shia Jamia Masjid Hussainabad, declared the courageous seerat and character of Hazrat Mukhtar (R.A.) a beacon of light for the oppressed world.

They said the seerat of Hazrat Mukhtar (R.A.) is the sign of courage and bravery that is a complete example for the whole humanity to follow and by doing so they could thwart the nefarious designs of the colonial powers.

The participants of the main gathering at Qasr-e-Abu Talib (A.S.) marking Martyr Day unanimously adopted a resolution moved by MSO Central President Haider Abbas Bajwa that demanded from the government to take effective steps to keep the law and order situation intact in the country.

The resolution declaring the Anti-Terrorism Act as voice of the whole nation demanded to ensure its implementation. Expressing complete solidarity with the oppressed and the independence movements the world over, particularly the oppressed people of Kashmir, Palestine, Afghanistan and Iraq, the resolution demanded exit of the allied forces from Afghanistan and Iraq forthwith and restoration of the holy places that also include Kufa Mosque which hosts the shrine of Hazrat Mukhtar Saqafi (R.A.).

A Martyr Day Majlis was also held at Ali Masjid Rawalpindi under the auspices of MSO Rawalpindi City. Allama Syed Zahid Abbas Kazmi, Syed Mohibb Ali Naqvi, Ali Furqan Jafri, Malik Khurram Shahzad and others addressed the Majlis.
