Bahrain exempts custom duties on Palestinian products By: Ali Al-Qadumi MANAMA, Bahrain: Manama has granted custom duties exemption to all goods and agricultural products from Palestine, a measure depicting the strength of the relations between the two brotherly countries. In a statement, the Palestinian Minister of Agriculture commended the Bahraini government’s step and considered it one of the forms of support it is giving to the people of Palestine. He disclosed that the Palestinian Authority is making efforts to ensure markets for the Palestinian farm products in the Arab countries through its exportation via Jordan to the Arab markets. He indicated that Palestine has a number of different types of agricultural products, like olive oil, rose oil, raspberry, etc, which constitute a source of income for the Palestinian economy, which is experiencing degradation as result of the Israeli repression.
