War on terror aims at hegemony over Muslims, Ayat Lankarani

HOLY CITY OF QOM, Iran: Ayatullah Muhammad Fazel Lankarani issued a message marking the auspicious occasion of birth anniversary of Imam Muhammad bin Hassan Al-Hojja Al-Mehdi (May Allah hasten his reappearance).

He said humanity in the vast span of time has achieved advancements day by day in material science and made great progress in various industrial fields especially in war fares which entail nothing but disaster, bloodshed and oppression. Day in and day out we are witnessing, in some countries, the tyranny of the great powers in the pseudo names of ‘war against terrorism’ and ‘security’.

Their main objective, in addition to hegemony over the countries, is plundering their natural resources, spreading a decadent and anti-Islamic culture and separating the young generation from their religious beliefs. Muslims should be vigilant that the ‘greater Middle East’ plan in the name of world order is meant to fight human religions specially Islam.

Obviously, in such situation a remedy has been considered by the Wise Creator and for deliverance of the humanity from weakness, a savior has been pre-appointed. In such situation awaiting ‘reappearance’ does find its true and lofty meaning and the actual awaiting individuals further realize the need to pray for the reappearance of the Imam.

I request all of the Shi’ites and Muslims in their entirety to give attention to this holy being {the Imam of the Time} and to raise their hands in prayer to God in the night of mid Sha’abaan, whose commemoration has been highly recommended, to hasten his reappearance.

The Ayatullah said we must know that the fulfillment of our prayers is linked to our good deeds, our pure intentions and to giving further importance to Islamic laws and reviving the Quran and the prophetic tradition. All of us are awaiting the Imam and the establishment of Mahdavi government.

All of us are waiting to see him execute vengeance for the oppression suffered by religion and the religious people. His global government promises the government of the noble servants of God, prevalence of true religion and the elimination of causes of fear and insecurity. It gives glad tidings of the development of intellects, evolution of spirits and the spread of ‘Alavi justice.

I congratulate all of the Shi’ites and Muslims and the freedom lovers on this happy Eid.
