Kuwaitis celebrate Sha’ban birthdays holding festivals

KUWAIT CITY: Birth anniversaries of Heroes of Karbala i.e. Al-Imam Al-Hussein, Hadhrat Al-Abbas, Al-Imam Zain-ul-Abidein (peace be on them) were observed in Kuwait, with devotees of Ahlul Bayt (peace be on them) felicitated holy family of Prophet Muhammad (peace be on him and his pure progeny).

Various religious organizations and associations organized galas and festivals at mosques and husseinyat including Husseiniyah Rasul Al-Adham (peace be on him and his pure progeny), Husseiniyah Bu-hamd, Kher-ul-Amal Center Sharq, Al-Imam Al-Hussein (peace be on him) Mosque and Al-Imam Al-Mehdi (may Allah hasten his reappearance) Mosque addressed by renowned scholars, speakers, eulogists and eulogy-chanting groups who highlighted different aspects of the pious lives of Karbala Heroes filling the hearts of devotees with great happiness.

Sweets and banquets were served to the devotees.

Addressing the festival at Al-Imam Al-Hussein (peace be on him) Mosque, Sayyed Abdul Wahab Mousavi threw light on the high status of Al-Imam Al-Hussein bin Ali bin Abi Talib (peace be on him), his brother Hadhrat Abbas bin Ali bin Abi Talib (peace be on him) and his son Ali bin Al-Hussein Zain-ul-Abidein (peace be on him) in the sight of the Creator of the Universe.

He said Chief of Martyrs Al-Imam Al-Hussein (peace be on him) along with his 72 near and dear ones nourished the tree of Islam with his holy blood, and after him his son Al-Imam Zain-ul-Abidein (peace be on him) and sister Sayyedah Zaynab Al-Hawra (peace be on her) disseminated his mission.
