Dubai witnesses grand Shaban festivals

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates: Marking Al-A`yaad Ash-Shabaniyah, or the Feasts of Shaban i.e. birth anniversaries of Sayedah Zainab bint-e-Ali, Al-Imam Al-Hussain, Abul Fazl Al-Abbas and Al-Imam Zain-ul-Abidein (peace be on them), grand festivals were held in the UAE.

A festival in connection with the happy occasions was held at Hussainiyah Ar-Rasol Al-Azam (peace be on him and his pure progeny) in Dubai attended by large number of Mo`mineen and followers of Ahlul Bayt (peace be on them).

Al-Haj Salih Kareebi recited holy verses from the holy Quran opening the festival followed by Sayyed Ahmed Mukhtar who recited Qasa`ed (eulogies) in praise of the holy members of the holy family of Prophet Muhammad (peace be on him and his pure progeny).

Addressing the gathering, Sheikh Rasol Fidayi spoke on the excellence of the month of Shaban and its merits. He urged the need of observing the days of A`immah Al-Huda from the Ahlul Bayt (peace be on them). He also threw light on the pious seerah of the four heroes of Karbala.

Renowned eulogist Al-Mulla Jalil Al-Karbalayi offered eulogies in the respected court of heroes of Karbala scenting the program.
