US, Canada scholars support Ayat Sistani peace plan By: Mohamed Ali DETROIT, United States: A big group of religious scholars, prayer leaders and preachers residing in the United States and Canada sent a letter of thankfulness and congratulation to Ayatullah Sayyed Ali As-Sistani for his successful efforts to solve the Holy Najaf crisis. They congratulated the Ayatullah Sistani on his safety expressing gratitude to Allah the Almighty for his recovery. “We support the great initiative (presented by Ayatullah Sistani) for stopping the bloodshed and the violation of the sanctity of Islamic sanctuaries in Holy Najaf, especially Emir of the Believers Ali Bin Abi Taleb (peace be upon him)'s sanctuary,” the scholars said. By their letter, the religious leaders also greeted Ayatullah Sisatani on the occasion of the birth of Emir of the Believers, and master of the monotheists Ali Bin Abi Taleb (peace be upon him) praying that may Allah grant them his visit in the world and his intercession in the hereafter, and protect Marjaiyah Ad-Diniyah (Religious Authority).
