AMI programs: Terrorists keep no religion By: Salman Alvi ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The country-wide programmes of "Ayyam-e-Mujahida-e-Islam" concluded on Friday. Majalis-e-aza and Matamdari in connection with the martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Zainab binte Ali (S.A.) were organised by different religious and Matmi organisations in all the four provinces of the country including Azad Kashmir and Northern Areas. Central Convener of the Ayyam-e-Mujahida-e-Islam Dr. Syed Nazir Hussain Shah while addressing a Majlis-e-Aza at Bargah-e-Abu Talib (A.S.) said Hazrat Zainab (S.A.) is that great respected Bibi who bore difficulties in gaol and delivered addresses in the style of her father Ali (A.S.) to provide protection to the mission of Martyrs of Nainawa. He said the source of movements of independence viz. the oppressed nations, Islamic World, Kashmir, Palestine, Afghanistan or Iraqi, is Karbala. Secretary of the Ayyam-e-Mujahida-e-Islam Committee Syed Naseer Hussain Sabzwari in his address said Muslims would have to follow the righteous path of Hazrat Zainab (S.A.) so as to get the Muslims rid of humiliation and defame. He reiterated his resolve not to give up support to the oppressed and the have-nots by following the pious Uswah of Sharika-tul-Hussain (S.A.). A resolution unanimously adopted on the occasion demanded from the government to ensure effective implementation of the Anti-Terrorism Act for restoring durable peace in the country and take notice of the banned groups becoming active with new names and joining political alliances. The resolution demanded to make the enquiry report of all incidents of terrorism public, provide treatment and better facilities to the injured of incidents of terrorism that took place in Karachi and Quetta, and pay the damages of the affected. Another resolution while condemning the murder of Nepalese citizens and hostage-taking of hundreds of innocent people at the hand of violent groups in Iraq and Russia respectively termed such activities a heinous conspiracy aimed at defaming Islam and Muslims, and made clear that users of such condemnable heinous tactics in the garb of Muslims are only terrorists who keep no religion or faith. Majalis followed by Matamdari in connection with the Ayyam Mujahida-e-Islam were also organised at Imambargah Sakhi Mahmood Badshah Kazmi Al-Mashadi Islamahad, Imambargah Zain-ul-Abideen, Imambargah Shaheedan-e-Karbala, Imambargah Qasr-e-Abbas, Imambargah Jagir-e-Ali Akhar, Imambargah Qasr-e-Sakina, and Imambargah Qasr-e-Hussainia.
