AL-QATEEF, Saudi Arabia: Marking Zekra Melad Monkez-ol Beshariyah Ar-Rasul Al-Akram va Hafeedohu Al-Imam Ja’far As-Sadeq, or the Birth Anniversary of Savior of Humanity Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his pure progeny) and his grandson Al-Imam Ja’far As-Sadeq (peace be upon him), Al-Fatah Mosque was reopened in Al-Kaveykab area of Al-Qateef city.

The inauguration ceremony, held on 16 Rabi`ol Olaa 25 April, was largely attended by the believers.

Addressing the ceremony, Sheikh Muhammad As-Saffar highlighted importance of building houses of Allah – mosques – in light of Quran and Sunnah. He quoted a saying of holy Prophet (peace be upon him) that he who builds a mosque, Allah builds a house for him in paradise.

He extended thanks to Sayyed Abdeljabbar Salat and Sayyed Amjed Al-Garyafi for rendering help in re-building of the mosque and giving it new apparel. He said rebuilding of the mosque is the best gift for people of Al-Qateef. He said besides five-time congregational prayers in the mosque, religious, social and cultural lectures will also be delivered.

Later, Al-Ostaz Mehdi Al-Baharnah recited Qaseedah while Sheikh Muhammad Ifiriat delivered speech.
