MALMO, Sweden: Sweden’s southern city of Malmo witnessed during last several days a number of celebratory programs marking the birth anniversary of Sadeqain - Master of Universe holy Prophet Muhammad Al-Mostapha (p) and his sixth infallible descendant Sadiqi Aal-i-Muhammad Al-Imam Jafar As-Sadeq (p).

According to the most authentic traditions, Chief of Messengers and Prophets Prophet Muhammad (p) illuminated the world by his birth in the holy city of Makkah on 17 Rabee`ol Avval in the Year of Elephant (Aam` ul-Feel). On the same day, Imam Jafer As-Sadeq (p) was born in the holy city of Medina in the year 83 AH.

In Malmo, Al-Montazar (P) Foundation, Servants of Al-Hussein (p) Association, Iraqi Cultural Society and Mosalla Al-Imam Al-Hussein (p) Organization organized several programs to celebrate the auspicious occasion.

A festive gatherings, held under the arrangements of Al-Montazar (P) Foundation, was attended by Islamic preacher Sheikh Marwan Khalifat who while delivering his speech at the occasion threw light on the role of holy Prophet (P) in disseminating pious message of Islam.

Renowned poets and intellectuals including Sheikh Abu Meesam As-Saneid, Sheikh Abdussattar Al-Kazemi, Ahmed Al-Kar’awi (from Denmark), Sayyed Abu Ar-Reza and Sheikh Abu Karrar An-Najafi scented the gathering with recital of eulogies in praise of Seal of Messengers Holy Prophet Muhammad (p) and Al-Imam As-Sadeq (P). Gifts were extended to all participants.

The following day celebratory gathering was organized by Servants of Al-Hussein (p) Association to further increase happiness and pleasure of the believers in connection with the august event.

Sayyed Haydar Al-Battat opened the program with recitation of holy Quran followed by panegyrics in the respected court of holy Prophet (p) and his grandson (p) by prominent panegyrists including Sheikh As-Saneid, Fazel Al-Mozafferi, Numayr As-Samavi, Abu Karrar and Sheikh Hadi As-Sarraf.

Poet Fazel Al-Mozafferi besides reciting several eulogies offered some of those panegyrics that have been written near the holy grave of holy Prophet (p). Eulogies of Abu Zahraa Al-Hamzavi were highly praised.

The program ended with the speech of Sheikh Abu Hawra.
