Canada: Arbaeen, Imam Reza (p) martyrdom observance held

TORONTO, Canada: Arbaeen-e-Hussaini and martyrdom anniversary of
Hazrat Imam Ali bin Mousa Ar-Reza (p) were observed in different parts
of Canada like other countries.
In this connection, majalis-e-aza were held at mosques, imambargahs,
hussainiat and Islamic centers which were attended by large number of
mourners. Speakers while addressing the majalis highlighted pious
character of A’immah Ahl-e-Bait (p).
A Majlis marking Shahadat of Imam Ar-Reza (p) was held at Al-Mahdi
Center, Toronto on Sunday March 27. Maulana Syed Muhammad Askari
addressed. Later taboot (replica coffin) of Imam Ali Ar-Reza (p) was
taken out and matam was performed.
A Majlis Arbaeen-e-Hussaini (p) was also organized at the same venue
on Thursday March 31. The speaker brought to light significance and
events of Arbaeen Al-Hussaini.
