RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, chief of the Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya has said that Hazrat Abu Talib (A.S.) was Negehban-e-Risalat (Protector of Apostleship), Patron, Shield and Defender of the Holy Prophet (SAW) and the challenges and dangers posed to Islam in the present era could be confronted with by following in his footsteps.

He stated this while announcing to observe “Youm-ul-Huzn” (Day of Grief) throughout the country on 26 Rabi-ul Awwal to mark the death anniversary of Hazrat Abu Talib (A.S.).

Agha Moosavi said Syed-ul-Batha, Kaleed Bardar Bait-Ullah (key-holder of House of Allah), uncle of Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa (SAW), father of Hazrat Ali Sher-e-Khuda (A.S.), Hazrat Abu Talib bin Abdul Muttalib (A.S.) was that great supporter of the Khatmi Martabat (SAW) who had posed challenge to the Taghooti world that by God they could not cause any harm to Muhammad (A.S.) even if they jointly try to do so unless I am buried in the earth. You (Muhammad A.S.) tell out with full force, nobody could cause any harm to you, you should remain happy, and may your eyes remain peace. The invitation given by you, I believe that you are the sincerest, truthful and trustworthy. The religion presented by you is the best in the world religions, I am not afraid of any consequences and insult because the generosity of my forefathers is well known.

The TNFJ chief said that on this basis, from amongst the men of this world, Hazrat Abu Talib (A.S.) is the singular personality whose year of death was declared Aam-ul-Huzn (Year of Grief) by holy Prophet (SAW). Therefore following in the footsteps of the Holy Prophet (A.S.) 26th Rabiul Awwal should be observed as Youm-ul-Huzn to express solidarity with the oppressed world. He said prays for solidarity and integrity of motherland Pakistan, supremacy of the Islamic World, and getting rid the humanity of terrorism should be sought.

Meanwhile, Central Youm-ul-Huzn Committee of the TNFJ has been established to organise Youm-ul-Huzn programmes. M. H. Jafri has been nominated as Convener and Malik Ashtar as Secretary of this Committee.
