HOLY CITY OF QOM, Iran: A number of leaders of Husseini processions groups from the holy city of Karbala visited the holy city of Qom, Iran.

During their visit, the groups’ leaders met with Ayatullah Sadeq Shirazi who spoke on the lofty status of Holy Karbala, significance of holding Majalis and taking out processions for Abi Abdellah Al-Hussein (A.S.). He said those who reside in Karbala must have recognized the importance of this holy city besides knowledge that they are neighbors to the holy grave of Chief of Martyrs.

Ayatullah Shirazi said that everyone who spends his energies, wealth or anything else in honoring Sha’a’er Al-Husseiniyah and holding majalis and processions with true intention, will get reward according to his spending.

He told the Husseini Processions groups leaders that whatever they would do in the way of Al-Imam Al-Hussein (A.S.), he (A.S.) knows it. He narrated a story to the guests that a man was used to feed the participants of Majalis Al-Aza Al-Imam Al-Hussein (A.S.) during first ten days of Muharram every year. Once he fed the participants till the 9th night and put his sons in charge of tenth day feeding as he had to go for ziyarah on Ashoura.

On 11th night, he saw in a dream Al-Imam Al-Hussein (A.S.) sitting on a pulpit and beside him was his brother Abul Fazl Al-Abbas (A.S.). He was extending to Al-Imam Al-Hussein (A.S.) and writing in a book everything which his devotees had offered him. When the man’s turn came, Imam (A.S.) counted whatever the man offered since the first night until he reached to the food of 10th day. He mentioned that the man offered dates, rice, oil, grains and meat of little camel to Husseini mourners. The man was surprised.

Returning to his city, he asked his sons about the meat which they cooked on 10th day, and they replied it was lamb meat. But when he refused their saying, they admitted that they got camel’s meat on low prices, therefore bought that, but they asked him surprisingly how he came to know all this. And he narrated to them his dream.
