DETROIT, Michigan: People of holy city of Najaf
residing in exile in Detroit, Michigan, United States,
revived Arbaeen of Imam Hosain bin Ali (AS) by holding a
mourning procession on Friday afternoon Safar 21.
Carrying Hosainy banners, large number of mourners led by
religious scholars took to streets of Detroit during the
mourning march that was organized by Al-Imam Ali (AS)
Islamic Center.
Also, Cultural and Art Committee of Al-Imam Ali (AS)
Islamic Center arranged a play to portray sufferings of
Maulatana Al-Hawraa Zaynab (AS), her heart-rending
addresses and her bold role in spreading divine message.
Majales Al-Hosainy were also held followed by lunch and
dinner from the table of Imam Hosain (AS). A big number of
mourners attended.
