ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Youm-e-Wiladat of Hazrat Imam Ali Al-Hadi (A.S.) was observed throughout the motherland with religious and national spirit and enthusiasm on Thursday as a part of Ashra-e-Ajr-e-Risalat on the call of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi.

Mahafil-e-Milad, conferences, seminars, and other functions were held in mosques, Imambargahs and religious institutions in all small and big cities of all the four provinces including Federal Capital Islamabad, Azad Kashmir, and Northern Areas in which different organisations, institutions and Azadaran fully participated.

Renowned ulema, waizeen, and zakireen in their addresses highlighted the seerat of Imam Ali Al-Hadi (A.S.) and termed its practical following the best source of success here and the Hereafter.

The biggest function in Rawalpindi was held at Ali Hall under the auspices of Hayyat Tulaba-e-Islam. Allama Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi in his address said that Hazrat Imam Ali Al-Hadi (A.S.) is the most important personality from amongst the inheritors of Rasool (SAW) and Farzandan-e-Ali (A.S.) and Batool (S.A.) and his Roza-e-Aqdas is situated in Samra, a city of the holy land of Iraq.

He said Imam Ali Al-Hadi had no match in his supremacy, and personality outlook, he was the inheritor of Masnad-e-Ilm-e-Nabuwwat and Risalat, Imamat and Wilayat, that is why the great and renowned ulema and Fuqaha used to bow down before his door for solution of their difficult problems. He said Yahya bin Aksam was a great and renowned scholar of the caliph Mamoon Rashid’s era who posed some questions to the Imam (A.S.) through letters, one of which was that Nabi Hazrat Suleman (A.S.) tried to get the throne of Queen Saba Bilquees on which Asif bin Barkhiya said I would present it within no time. The question is that why Hazrat Suleman did not perform that work himself, was he not able to do that? The Imam (A.S.) replied that although Hazrat Suleman had the capability of doing that but he wanted to make the world know about the great status of his inheritor, that is why he entrusted this work to him.

The second question was that according to Quran, when Hazrat Yaqoob (A.S.) went to Kana’an to meet his son Yousuf (A.S.), they all went into Sajdah before Hazrat Yousuf (A.S.), why Hazrat Yaqoob (A.S.) performed Sajdah to his son while Sajdah is only for Allah? The Imam (A.S.) said, this Sajdah was not for Yousuf (A.S.) but for thank-giving for the integrity of his son, like angels performed Sajdah for Adam (A.S.). This Sajdah was also not for Adam (A.S.) but to fulfil the commandment of Allah.

He said this is a great Khanwada which is the source of knowledge and guidance and a symbol of knowledge and deeds who have made Zuhd-o-Taqwa their habit. Had the Muslim Ummah fulfilled the commandment of Allah and performed the duty of Ajr-e-Risalat then there would have been no anarchy and differences amongst Muslims and no surrounding of them by the international colonial powers.

Syed Tabassum Abbas Kazmi, Riwayat Hussain Ravi, Hassan Raza Kiani, Shahzad Butt, and Arif Hussain Al-Hussaini also addressed the gathering while Jafar Khan recited from Holy Quran.

Mehfil-e-Milad was held at Imambargah Zainul Abideen under the auspices of Anjuman Faiz-e-Punjtan that was addressed by various women speakers.

Mehfil-e-Milad Jashan Imam Ali Al-Hadi (A.S.) was held at Jamia Wali-ul-Asr Islamabad, which was addressed by Allama Fakhar Abbas Zahidi, Zakir Mushtaq Hussain Shah Kazmi, Syed Zulqarnain Naqvi and others.

Mehfil Ajr-e-Risalat was held at Imambargah Zain-ul-Aza Rawalpindi under the auspices of TNFJ District Council Rawalpindi. Al-Haj Ghulam Murtaza Chauhan and others addressed.

Similar gatherings were also held in Lahore, Multan, Quetta, Karachi, Peshawar, Kohat, Skardu, Muzaffarabad, Tank, Jehlum, Sheikhupura, Haiderabad, Kherpur, Dadu, Mianwali, D.G.Khan, D.I.Khan, Sakhar, Mandi Bahuddin and many other cities.
