RAWALPINDI, Pakistan - August 13: Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, chief of the Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan, has said that creation of Pakistan is the bright example of Ajr-e-Risalat and sweet fruit of love and devotion with Muhammad (SAW) and Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.).

He stated this in a special message on the occasion of Jashan-e-Azadi. He said the Holy Prophet (SAW) conferred acme to religion and Shariat and bore uncountable difficulties that no other Nabi and Rasool has to face, the fruit of this preaching of Risalat is declared love and devotion with Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.).

He said every person keeps an objective of his life before him without which the human life is insignificant, when that particular objective become the joint objective of a nation or a Millat then it is called the ideology of life for that nation.

Agha Moosavi said there is no organisation or Tehreek in the world behind which there is no belief or ideology. System of life is designed with the mutual coordination of political, monetary, economic and social rather all departments of life and all relationships and rights are also identified with the same, ideology of life is designed from the ideology itself, Muslim ideology of life is Islam that became the basis of Pakistan Movement, and on the basis of that ideology Pakistan came into being and it was settled that here everything will be done in line with Islam the source of which is Quran and Sunnat-e-Paighambar.

He said Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah in his historic address to Muslim League gathering on March 23, 1947 had said that Islam and Hindu religion are not merely religions rather two different social systems, therefore, this desire should be given up that Hindus and Muslims could design a joint nationality, I would say in clear cut words that they belong to two different movements the basis of which has been rested on such concepts and realities which are different from each other.

On another occasion in 1943, he advised to consult Quran saying according to which relation all Muslims are like a single body? Which one is the rock at which the building of the Millat rests on? Which one is the anchor on which its boat rests in peace? That relationship, rock, and anchor is Quran; unity will be created amongst them, as we would march ahead.

The TNFJ chief said that addressing a gathering at Islamia College Peshawar, the Quaid-i-Azam had said, we have not demanded Pakistan just to achieve a piece of land but have achieved such a laboratory where we could test the Islamic principles. On another place he said, we would design such a State where we could live like independent human beings and our civilisation and society may get time to be exploited in full.

Therefore, Quaid-i-Azam got the name of Pakistan registered as an Islamic State on the horizon. He said the first Constitution of Pakistan was made in 1956, later many stages passed by so much so that a consensus Constitution came into being that was called Constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan according to which President and the Prime Minister should be Muslims (not Sunni, Shia or Ahle Hadis). That is why Islam was declared as official religion of Pakistan, religious (not of any fiqh) education is compulsory in schools and colleges, Islamic values, democracy and tolerance were made a part of the Constitution, it was also written in it that such conditions would be provided in which every human being could transform himself in accordance with Islam. Stress on protection of non-Muslim minorities was also made in the Constitution, in the amendment introduced in 1985, it was made obligatory for the public representatives to be laced with Islamic qualities according to 1973 Constitution i.e. they should be pious having good seerat and character.

In the light of these realities, while observing Independence Day, we would have to review whether we are following the Constitution in letter and spirit.

The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Hamid Moosavi said today such powers are dominating in Pakistan that played no part in the Independence Movement, these people looted the country and then such a greedy person came into power who sowed the seeds of terrorism violating the Islamic ideology fruit of which is being reaped by the nation today. He said God may bless Gen. Pervez Musharraf who enforced Anti-Terrorism Act to check terrorists but the combined enemy was using every tactic to sabotage it as a result of which the whole nation is confronted with new problems and difficulties.

In these circumstances, he said it is obligatory for all countrymen to be ever ready to offer any sacrifice demanded of them to protect Pakistan and its honour and dignity.
