Pak: ID resolutions demand fulfilment of rights of all schools of thought

RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: Ceremonies of Pakistan Independence Day on August 14 in connection with Ashra-e-Ajr-e-Risalat according to the announcement made by Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi were held with due respect, fervour and devotion in all small and big cities, towns, villages, Rawalpindi region including federal capital Islamabad, Azad Kashmir and Northern Areas.

By fully participating in these ceremonies, all Pakistanis - elders, young, women and children - provided proof of their deep love for Pakistan that came into being in 1947. On this occasion, different speakers, waezeen, and student leaders delivered addresses on various topics i.e. why Pakistan creation was deemed necessary? What is the basis of Pakistan formation? What are Pakistan’s targets? etc.

Ha’eat Tulba-e-Islamia organized a magnificent function marking Jashan-e-Azadai at Jamia-tul Momineen. Chairman Mukhtar Students Organization Bu Ali Mehdi, who made special participation in the program, said while addressing that Pakistan is a great gift and a valuable blessing of Allah for us. As the founder and promoter of Movement of Islam are Muhammad (SAW) and Ali (A.S.), similarly Pakistan formation was done at the hands of Muhammad Ali Jinah, and the followers of Muhammad (SAW) and Ali (A.S.) remained at forefront in Pakistan’s defence and stability. In Pakistan Movement, all schools of thought rendered joint sacrifices and according to Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Hamid Moosavi Pakistan creation is bright proof of Ajr-e-Risalat and sweet fruit of love and devotion for Muhammad (SAW) and Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.).

He said Syed Tabassum Abbas Kazmi, Syed Kazim Abbas, Rawayat Hussain, Jafar Khan and Fezan Kazmi also addressed. Later, special cake cutting was held.

A debate competition among school and college students titled “Quaid-i-Azam’s Pakistan” to mark the occasion was held under arrangements of Mukhtar Students Organization Tench Bhatta Unit presided over by MSO Rawalpindi Cantt President Syed Ameer Hussain Shah while Dr. Syed Zahid Hussain Naqvi was the chief guest. Prizes were distributed to the winning students and cake cutting was held. On this occasion, national anthem was presented by Mukhtar Generation children and they saluted to Pakistan Flag.

Various resolutions were passed in Independence Day ceremonies which stressed that Pakistan is joint inheritance of all schools of thought, its defence and integrity is also obligatory on all, therefore fulfilment of rights of all is vital on basis of equality. Maktab-e-Tashayyo is deprived of its rights like other schools of thought for the past 58 years.

Another resolution made clear that Kashmir was declared as Pakistan Jugular Vein by Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinah. Dream of peace in Southeast Asia could not be fulfilled until resolution of Kashmir issue according to desires of Kashmiris and UN resolutions.

By another resolution, the ceremonies severely condemned terrorism wherever it is. It said international taghoot in fact is cause of terrorism.

Appreciating efforts of President Pervez Musharraf to ban for the third time activities of outlawed groups under new names through Anti-Terrorism Act, another resolution demanded to arrest real terrorists because innocent poor are being arrested which is sabotaging of President Musharraf’s steps and defaming his government. Government should take strict notice of it.

Special prayers were offered for stability and development of motherland and eradication of terrorism in ceremonies of Independence Day, and it was resolved to render every sacrifice for protection of Pakistan.
