MANAMA, Bahrain: Anniversary of Birth of ninth infallible imam from the progeny of holy Prophet (s.w.), Al-Imam Muhammad Taqii Al-Javvad (a.s.), was reverently and devotedly celebrated in Bahrain like other countries.

Big festive gatherings, festivals and galas were arranged at mosques, husseiniyaat and ma’tam; greetings were extended to the last Imam Al-Hojjah Al-Montadhar Al-Mehdi (a.s.) and all believers, and special dishes were cooked to mark the auspicious occasion that falls on 10 Rajab Al-Asab.

Addressing these celebratory programs, speakers highlighted holy life of the imam (a.s.), his characteristics and attributes, and thus presented greetings in the respected court of holy Prophet (s.w.) and last proof of Allah on earth – Al-Imam Al-Mehdi (a.s.).

They urged the need of following the teachings of the ninth imam (a.s.) that call for peace and love, and condemn every kind of terrorism, biases and oppression.
