AL-QATEEF, Saudi Arabia: Marking Mauledo Sayyed-ol Vasiyyeen, or the Anniversary of Birth of Chief of Deputies, Al-Imam Ali bin Abee Taleb Al-Mortadha (p), magnificent celebratory programs were held in oil-rich Mo’mineen-dominated eastern region of Saudi Arabia.
 
Al-Imam Ali Al-Mortadha (p) was born in the holy Ka’abah (House of Allah) in the holy city of Makkah on Rajab 13 after the wall of Ka’abah split opened by the command of Allah giving her mother way to enter the house of Allah.
 
In Al-Matirfi in Al-Ahsaa province, a festive gathering was organized at husseiniyah Az-Zahraa (p) attended by large number of devotees including elites, notabilities and religious scholars.

Sayyed Adnan Hashem opened the gathering with recitation of holy Quran followed by Sayyed Hasan Sayyed Taj Al-Ali who recited Al-Mauled Ash-Sharif. Sheikh Muhammad At-Tariki addressed while Al-Ostaz Abo-Alqassem Hussein Al-Khalifa presented poetic tributes in praise of Al-Imam Ali (p). 
 
Sheikh Al-Auhed recitation group from Al-Matirfi recited eulogies in the respected court of first infallible successor of Chief of Prophets holy Prophet Muhammad Al-Mostafa (p), Ali Al-Mortadha (p), adding cheeriness to the gathering.

Later, sweetmeats were distributed and drinks were served.
 
In Dammam, Sayyed Ali As-Salman addressed a celebration highlighting great status and dignity of Waleed-ol Ka’abah Al-Imam Ali (p). He pointed out different titles of Imam-ol Mottaqein Ali (p) with reference to their meanings.
 
The program had begun with recitation of Quranic verses by reciter Issa Al-Habib. Ali ibn Ash-Sheikh Abdullah As-Samin offered eulogistic tributes.
 
Qasaed, or the eulogies, of poets Hussein Al-Jame’ and Bassem Al-Ithan were also recited during the program.
 
In Al-Hafof, a celebration titled “Hafl An-Nur” was held at husseiniyah Al-Mohammadiyah “Abo Khamsin”.
