Zamin Day festivals in Pak slam terror, encroachment of Shias rights

RAWALPINDI, December 14: The Youm-e-Wiladat of Hazrat Imam Ali bin Moosa Raza (A.S.) was observed as “Youm-e-Zamin” throughout the country with religious fervour, spirit, devotion and respect on Wednesday on the call of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi.

Mahafil-e-Milad, conferences, seminars and meetings on the topic of Seerat-e-Imam Zamin (A.S.) were held at mosques, Imambargahs and religious institutions in all big and small cities, towns and villages of the country including Federal Capital Islamabad.

Ulema, waizeen and zakireen highlighting the uswah-e-Imam Zamin (A.S.) declared the practical following of the same as success here and the Hereafter and attachments with them as a guarantee for eternal survival.

In Rawalpindi, Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi, Central Secretary Information of the TNFJ addressing the Mehfil-e-Imam Zamin organized at Ali Hall under the auspices of Hay’at Tulaba-e-Islamia said that Hazrat Imam Raza (A.S.) introduced the practical method of welfare with knowledge to the world in line with the desire of Allah and the human being cannot only fulfil rather whole humanity could be get rid of problems and difficulties faced by them.

He said Hazrat Imam Ali Raza (A.S.) is the 8th inheritor of Khatam-ul-Mursaleen (SAW) who utilized all his energies in confronting oppression, brutality and suppression with courage and bravery but did not give up his highest goals and not only declared Kalma-e-Tauheed as the real basis of divine system rather made the whole world believe that Kalma-e-Tauheed is a good omen for the whole humanity and guarantees welfare. He said the Imam-e-Zamin (A.S.) enlightened the candle of Tauheed-e-Illahi and performed invaluable achievements in disseminating the Islamic message of peace.

A resolution adopted on the occasion strongly condemned the ongoing oppression and terrorism the world over and called upon the international organizations that get the issues of Kashmir and Palestine resolved in the light of the United Nations Resolutions keeping to the desires of their respective people, date should be fixed for exit of allied forces from Afghanistan and Iraq and holding of peaceful elections in Iraq should be ensured.

Another resolution strongly condemned the act of making Syria and Iran a target while yet another resolution stressing the need of implementation of the Makkah Declaration issued at the recent OIC Summit strongly condemned the suppression of rights of the people of Muslim States of Egypt, Bahrain and other countries.

The resolution strongly condemning the encroachment of rights of the Maktab-e-Tashayyo by the State institutions and media in motherland Pakistan expressed shock and concern over the dominance of particular sections of society and they ignore TNFJ reaction of important national and international affairs, announcements of observing national and religious days and programmes.

Lauding the steps taken by President Pervez Musharraf to root out terrorism, another resolution expressed concern over sabotaging these steps by some powers and demanded effective implementation of the Anti-Terrorism Act so as to restore durable peace in the country.

Another resolution strongly condemned terrorism acts reported from Balochistan and Karachi and demanded immediate release of innocent ulema and religious leaders arrested in Sindh and Northern Areas fulfilling the norms of justice and fair-play. Maulana Syed Tabassum Abbas Kazmi, Hassan Raza Kiani, Syed Jone Ali Mashadi, Shahzad Hussain Sanadi, Mushahid Hussain Kazmi, Ali Zeb Kazmi and Jafar Khan also addressed the Mehfil.
