AMSTERDAM, Holland: Devotees of Ahl-ol Beit (p) in Bahrain and Egypt, and Islamic Shia Council in Holland on behalf of Arab, Turkish, Afghan, Indian and Pakistani Mo’minin living there as well as prayer leaders in the United States have severely condemned Al-Jazeera television for defaming Holy Najaf Marja’iyah.

In their separate statements, they expressed full solidarity with the Holy Najaf Marja’iyah. They said the Marja’iyah, on every occasion, proved that it is a source of blessings, its stances are for welfare of humanity in general and Muslims in particular, and it always foiled rift-creating conspiracies.

In Bahrain, thousands took to streets led by chief of Islamic Ulema Council Al-Allamah Sheikh Issa Qassem, vice-president f the council Al-Allamah Sayyed Abdulah Al-Gharifi and a number of other religious scholars to defend Marja’iyah in Holy Najaf.
