RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: On the call of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, Ayyam-e-Taqwa programmes continued throughout the country on the second day, Saturday to mark the Shahadat of Hazrat Imam Muhammad Taqi (A.S.).

Taboot processions were taken out and religious gatherings were organised in this connection. Ulema, waizeen and zakireen in their address at different Imambargahs and Aza Khanas, highlighted the seerat of Imam Muhammad Taqi (A.S.).

Addressing the Majlis of Ayyam-e-Taqwa held at Jamia-tul Momineen, Maulana Tabassum Kazmi said that Hazrat Imam Muhammad bin Ali Ar-Raza (A.S.) was posted at the highest level of Zuhd-o-Taqwa and he carried out invaluable services for the promotion of Tauheed-e-Ilahi, Shariat-e-Muhammadi and Jaada-e-Murtazvi by confronting oppression, suppression and brutality during his short life span spread over 25 years.

He said at present the whole world of humanity was confronting with problems and difficulties for the solution of which we would have to follow the principles of pious religious leaders.

A resolution adopted on the occasion while demanding exodus of foreign forces from Kashmir, Palestine, Iraq and Afghanistan, strongly condemned the colonial atrocities going on there and called upon the international organisations to play their important role in restoring durable peace in these regions.

Another resolution called upon the Government of Pakistan to follow the policy of mutual understanding for solution of sensitive and important national issues and take religious and patriotic forces within and without Parliament into confidence.

Another resolution made it clear that supremacy of Quran and Sunnah should be ensured to prove Pakistan a Muslim State under the Constitution instead of promoting monopoly of any particular school of thought, and for this purpose rights of all recognised schools of thought should be fulfilled on the basis of equality.

The resolution expressed grave concern on encroachment of rights of Maktab-e-Tashayyo in all State departments including the electronic and print media terming it extreme injustice. The resolution demanded immediate implementation of May 21, 1985 Junejo-Moosavi agreement for solution of long-standing Shia problems.

Addressing the Majlis-e-Ayyam-e-Taqwa at Qasr-e-Abu Talib, Allama Qalab-e-Abbas said solution to our problems lay in unity and mutual understanding. He said there is a saying of the Khatmi Martabat (SAW) that, “Thus, O, Ahle Bait (A.S.), you are Ahl-e-Allah, courtesy of whom blessing achieved completeness, evil, anarchy and differences were removed, and unity and mutual understanding prevailed”.

He said today the whole world is not only confronted with oppression and brutality rather wrath of God. Allah Says: “Do not become like these people who were shattered even after getting bright arguments from Allah, and such people would have to face a big wrath”. Therefore, he said, there is need to give up all type of differences.

He said if we have to get independence of Kashmir and Palestine and have to achieve Al-Quds Ash-Sharif, get Afghanistan and Iraq free of the allied forces, and get rid of oppression, brutality and wrath of God, then we would have to give up committing sins and follow in the foot-steps of Mashaheer-e-Islam and should divert our attention toward Allah instead of looking towards the colonial powers.

Addressing the second Majlis of Ayyam-e-Taqwa at Imambargah Zain ul-Aza, Alhaj Ghulam Murtaza Chauhan, TNFJ District Rawalpindi President said Hazrat Imam Muhammad Taqi (A.S.) fulfilled the right of supremacy of religious principles and protection of righteousness by waging practical jehad against oppression, suppression and brutality in his era spread over 25 years. He said the practical following of the uswah of Imam Taqi (A.S.) guarantees welfare and success of humanity in this era full of problems and difficulties.
