TNFJ declares “Zamin Day” marking Imam Raza (A) birth anniversary

RAWALPINDI, December 08: An important meeting of
central office-bearers of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan was
held here on Thursday. Secretary General Syed Abu Ghazanfar Ali Shah
presided over the meeting that was also attended by Provincial Council
Balochistan Coordination Secretary Mahdi Hazarvi and Federal Capital
Islamabad Coordination Secretary Zulfiqar Ali Raja.
The future line of action was laid down during the meeting in the
light of present situation prevailing in the country.
The participants of the meeting decided that Tehreek Nafaz
Fiqh-e-Jafariya will observe Wiladat Purnoor of Hazrat Imam Ali Raza (A.S.)
as Youm-e-Zamin throughout the country like other parts of the world
on Wednesday, Zeeqa’ad 11 with religious fervour, spirit, devotion and
respect in line with the announcement made by
Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi. In this
connection, Mahafil-e-Milad, conferences, seminars and other festive
functions will be organised in mosques and Imambargahs of all small
and big cities and towns of the country.
Syed Abu Ghazanfar in his presidential address said solidarity will be
expressed with the oppressed the world over during the Youm-e-Zamin
programmes and hatred will be expressed against the Satanic forces and
the oppressors shattering peace all over the world. A TNFJ Central
Youm-e-Zamin Committee has been formed to organise Youm-e-Zamin
programmes. Dr. S.M. Rizvi has been nominated as Convener and Muhammad
Abbas Baloch as Secretary of the Committee.
The agenda of the high level meeting of the Supreme Council of TNFJ to
be summoned within a few weeks by Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Hamid
Moosavi in connection with the arrangements of Muharram-ul Haram was
also discussed during the meeting.
Various resolutions were also adopted during the meeting.
One of the resolutions while fully supporting the OIC summit held in
Makkah Mukarramah stressed the need of resolving the Kashmir and
Palestine issues in the light of the United Nations Resolutions. The
resolution demanded that the massacre going on in Iraq after
Afghanistan should be stopped and the Iraqi people should be allowed
to spend their life as they desire after giving them right to vote.
The resolution paid tributes to the Sunni-Shia people of Iraq on
thwarting the colonial conspiracy to spread anarchy and disunity
amongst them.
Lauding the steps taken by President Pervez Musharraf for rooting out
terrorism, another resolution condemned the arrest of innocent people
in the crackdown against the banned groups and demanded immediate
release of innocent citizens. It called upon President Musharraf to
take strict notice of banned groups’ participation in government and
opposition fora, and give exemplary punishment to the culprits of Bari
Sarkar incident so as to remove the unrest amongst the ranks of the
Millat.
Yet another resolution demanded release of innocent people arrested in
Northern Areas and arrest of culprits responsible for recent terrorism
incident in Karachi and Balochistan and give them exemplary
punishment. The participants of the meeting made it clear that Tehreek
Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya was already working in the best interest of
the nation and it would continue its sincere efforts in future also.
