Husseini commemoration kicks off in Bahrain By: Ali Al-Qadumi
MANAMA, Bahrain: Grand Majales Al-Azaiyah, or the mourning sittings, marked the beginning of the month of Muharram in Bahrain on Thursday. The Majales, started on the eve of Muharram, will remain in continuation till 8th of Raby Al-Awwal, the 3rd Islamic month, at mosques, husseiniyaat and ma’atm across the country.
Speakers during majales threw light on the great sacrifices of Al-Imam Al-Hussein b. Ali b. Abi Talib (p), philosophy of tragedy of Karbala and Imam (p)’s Qayam. Rich homage was paid to Sibt Ar-Rasul Al-Imam Al-Hussein (p) and his 72 near and dear ones. END |
