Pak majalis declare mourning of Karbala Martyr is life

Islamabad, Pakistan: Ashra-e-Muharram Majalis in remembrance of great martyrs of Karbala who offered matchless sacrifices for eminence of Islam and survival of Mohammadan Shariah were continued on Saturday.

Ayatullah Syed Mazhar Shirazi while addressing the second majlis at Central Imambargah Qasr-e-Abu Talib (A.S.) said Hazrat Imam HUssain (A.S.) was that embodiment of bravery and valour who along with his little army confronted with huge Yazidi army and tolerated to see his dear ones in blood but did not bow his head before evil.

On this occasion, a resolution sponsored by Syed Naseer Gussain Sabzawari was passed by thousands of participants. The resolution demanded from the government to form Muharram cell on federal and provincial level for resolution of problems of Azadaran which should be publicized through media and be directed to keep a contact with TNFJ Central Muharram Committee (Azadari Cell) Control Room.

The participants resolved to fully follow the Code of Azadari issed by Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Moosavi.

Another resolution demanded from the government to ensure implementation of Anti-Terrorism Act for durable peace in the country, take severe notice of the activities of banned groups working under new names, and the government and opposition make themselves aloof from these groups.

Poet Shaukat Raza Shaukat and Allama Basharat Imami addressed second Muharram majlis at Imambargah Khadijatul Kubra Tarlai Kalan Islamabad. Allama Ijaz Hussain Modarres addressed a majlis-e-aza at Jinah Reading Room, Khatteb Fateh Furat at Jafria Mosque I-9, Allama Zahid Abbas Kazmi at Azakjana Ali Sarkar, Allama Yasir Naqvi at Imambargah Colonel Maqbool Hussain, Allama Taqi Hadi at Imambargah Naserul Aza, Allama Hassan Rizvi at Haideri Chowk, Allama Agha Ali Hussain in Bangash Colony, Zakir MUshtaq Hussain Shah at Imambargah Shah Chan Charagh and Maulana Maqbool Hussain Dhakko at Qasre Imam Moosa Kazim Islamabad and Mohtarama Safia at Jamiatul Murtaza Islamabad.

Allama Sidq Hussain Naqvi addressed a majlis at Imambargah Hussainiah and severely condemned Interior Minister’s meeting with head of a banned group urging the said minister to ponder over his deeds. On one hand he utters for peace while on the other he holds meetings with terrorist groups.

In Lahore, majalis were held at Bibi Pak Daman, Imambargah Gulistan-e-Panjtan Chaburji, Nisar Haweli, Mochi Gate, Karbala Gamay Shah, Imamia Colony Imambargah, Mohalla Chehl Bibian, Imambargah Syed Wajid Ali Shah, Mubarik Haweli, Chowk Nawab Sahib, Koocha Qazi Khana, Imambargah Maulvi Feroze Ali, Koocha Miskeenan, Mohalla Pir Gillanian, Imambargah Syed Rajab Ali Shah, Chau-Hatta Mufti Baqir, Kashmiri Bazar Imambargah and Shah-e-Najaf Imambargah.

In Karachi, Allama Talib Johry addressed at Nashtar Park Karachi and Imambargah Shuhada-e-Karbala while Anjuman-e-AlZulfiqar offered Noha Khwani. Maulana Aqeel Abbas addred at Zainabia Imambargah Abbas Town Gulshan Iqbal, Maulana Shafqat Abbas at Mosque and Imambargah Aal-e-Muhammad North Karachi, Maulana Nazar Hussain at Jamia Mosque Bab-un Najaf, Maulana Shehryar Abidi at Mosque and Imambargah Waliul Asr, Allama Aun Naqvi at Imambargah Shuhada e Karbala Incholi and Allama Waqar Taqvi at Eliya Mosque.

In Multan, Zakir Zargham Abbas, Ali Raza Bukhari and Syed Zuryat Imran Bukhari addressed second Muharram majlis at Taziadar Lal Shah while Maulana Askari and Maulana sabir at Imambargah Zainabia. Majalis were also held at Imambargah Mumtazabad, Imambargagh Hazrat Shah Shams and Imambargah Hussainabad.

Majalis were also held in Peshawar, Quetta, Muzaffarabad, Chakwal, Jehlum, Kohat, Attock, D.G.Khan, Bhakkar, Larkana, D.I.Khan, Mandi Bahaudin and many other cities.
