Majalis, processions continue as TNFJ Muharram Committee meets

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Syed Shujaat Ali Bokhari presided over a meeting of Central Muharram Committee Azadari Cell of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya in Central Control Room to review the arrangements of all programs of Ashra-e-Muharram all over the country while Majalis-e-aza were continued on the sixth day of Muharram-ul-Haram throughout Pakistan to commemorate the matchless and unparallel sacrifice of Mohsin-e-Insaniyat the Greatest Martyr Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS).

Bokhari addressing the meeting said that by the grace of God Control Rooms were already set up in the Federal Area and all the four provinces including Northern Areas and Azad Kashmir before Muharramul Haram which are working round the clock and are busy in resolving the problems of Azadaran-e-Imam Hussain (A.S.) to their full capacity.

He said in some districts, Administration is harassing Azadaran and we have apprised the powers that be in this connection. We have to foresee unity and brotherhood come what may because the supremacy of Islam for which Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S.) offered the sacrifice of his 72 near and dear ones, desires peace throughout the universe and is the source of unity besides being the centre of hopes pinned by its lovers, Matmis and Azadaran. Therefore, he said, there is need for all schools of thought to avoid any thing that may be beneficial for our combined enemy.

Shujaat Bokhari said translation of an Ayah of Surah Aal-e-Imran goes: “Do not become like those who became indifferent after the enlightened arguments of Allah and created differences amongst themselves, such people will have to face the wrath of God”.

He lamented that international colonial powers were continuing oppression and brutality in Afghanistan and Iraq and have made the life of Muslims in Kashmir and Palestine difficult owing to disunity in the Islamic World. Moreover, he said, she desires to create differences in Muslim States by hatching new conspiracies the fresh example of which is the murder of Rafique Hariri in Lebanon. He said if we have to thwart the conspiracies of the international Taghoot then we will have to get rid of all conspiracies of the evil in the light of Hussainiyyat.

Convener of Central Muharram Committee Azadari Cell said that the Federal government has set up Muharram Control Room in the Ministry of Interior fulfilling our demand which is a good step towards a right direction but the Administration in the provincial governments, Azad Kashmir and Northern Areas have not yet set up Control Rooms despite inviting their attention towards this issue several times.

He made it clear that we had always given priority to the interest of the nation and the country and would continue to work for the welfare of the motherland and its people in future also. Expressing his shock over the loss of life and property in Balochistan and Sarhad provinces owing to floods, he appealed the people to help the affected with an open heart because we will have to share grieves of one another if we have to put Pakistan on road to progress.

Addressing the majalis, speakers, quoting a saying of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Syed Hamid Moosavi that Azadari of Imam Hussain (AS) is worship, and causing blood to come out through zanjir zani or qama zani over the sufferings of Nawasa-e-Rasool-us-Saqalain Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) is essence of all worships, highlighted the significance of Azadari-e-Imam-e-Mazloom (AS).

Azadari programs were going on in all cities and towns including Karachi, Larkana, Sakkhar, Mirpur Khas, Kherpur Miras, Haiderabad, Dadu, Nawab Shah, Bhakkar, Lahore, Faisalabad, Sheikhupura, Multan, Jehlum, D.G.Khan, D.I.Khan, Mandi Bahuddin, Mianwali, Chakwal, Quetta, Khuzdar, Yob, Peshawar, Kohat, Attock, Tank and Skardu, Gilgit, Muzaffarabad.

In Capital Islamabad and its twin city Rawalpindi, Majalis-e-Aza were held at various imambargahs and mosques including Jinah Reading Room, Qasr-e-Sakina Dhok Hassu, Azakhana Ali Hasnain Sheda, Qasr-e-Abu Talib, Jamiatul Murtaza and Ali Mosque where Allama Sheikh Ijaz Hussain Modarres, Khateeb Fateh Furat, Maulana Ijlal Haider Masoumi, Ayatullah Syed Mazhar Hussain Shirazi, R. Wajiha and Qamar Haider Zaidi addressed respectively.

A resolution adopted on the occasion expressed thanks to the government on set up of Azadari Control Room in Interior Ministry on the demand of TNFJ, demanded the same in all the four provinces, Azad Kashmir and Northern Areas, and that these should be directed to keep a contact with the Central Muharram Committee of TNFJ.

The resolution made clear that Muharram is not the name of ten days, rather Azadari programs are held till the 8th of Rabiul Awwal. Therefore, the government should make special arrangements during all these days and strictly follow the Code of Azadari issued by Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Moosavi.

Meanwhile, series of mourning processions of alam, zuljinah, taziya and cradle of Hazrat Ali Asghar (AS) also began across the country attended by thousands of matadaran-e-Hussain (AS).
