KUWAIT CITY: Like other global parts, matchless sacrifices of holy Prophet Muhammad b. Abdullah (p)’s grandson Al-Imam Abi Abdillah Al-Hussein (p), presented some 1,400 years ago for the sake of Islam and humanity, are being commemorated in Kuwait by holding husseini rites.

The mourning programs kicked off on the eve of first Muharram with the appearance of crescent and will remain continue till 8th of Raby Al-Oola, the 3rd month of Islamic Calendar.

During first ten days of Muharram, Sheikh Hussein Al-Faheed addressed daily majales on the topic of wilayah for Ahlol Bayt (p) which is the right path while Mulla Jalil Al-Karbalayi recited dirges at husseiniyah Bou Hamd. Sayyed Ibrahim Al-Qazvini addressed at husseiniyah Al-Ja’faria Al-Amerah, Sheikh Ibrahim An-Naserawi at Husseiniyah Al-Yassin, Sheikh Al-Mohajer at Husseiniyah Maarfi, Baqer Al-Fali at Husseiniyah Al-Karbalaiyah, Sayyed Mahmoud Al-Husseini at Al-Imam Zayn Al-Abidein (p) Mosque, Sheikh Mortadha Al-Baldi at husseiniyah Ahlol Bayt (p), Abdur Redha Al-Ma’ash at husseiniyah Sayyed Muhammad in Salwa, Sheikh Hussein Al-Ma’tok at husseiniyah Al-Balosh in Al-Jaberiyah, Dr. Sheikh Fadhel Maleki at husseiniyah Al-Abbasiyah in Al-Mansouriyah, while Sayyed Abbas Al-Husseini at husseiniyah As-Sha’ab.

They said that Al-Imam Al-Hussein (p) by walking on the path of his grandfather Prophet Muhammad b. Abdullah (p) and his father Ali Al-Murtaza (p) presented that great sacrifice which elevated Islam and defended high human values.
