Mubahila is great day of victory of monotheism, says QMJ

RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: Celebrations marking Eid-e-Mubahila will be held on Friday February 4 in connection with Wilayat Week announced by Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi.

Hamid Moosavi while addressing the office-bearers and members of TNFJ Walayat Week Committee led by M.H.Jafri said Mubahila is in fact that great and blessed day of victory of monotheism (oneness of God) when Christians of Najran quibbled against holy Prophet (SAW) that Hazrat Isa (A.S.) is son of Allah because he was born without a father. Holy Prophet (SAW) by the orders of God said:

Verily, similitude of Jesus with God is as the similitude of Adam; He created him out of dust then said He unto him BE, and he became.

But Christians insisted that Isa (A.S.) is Ibnullah and not Abdullah. When they remained obstinate the holy Prophet (SAW) challenged them by the orders of Allah that:

Say: Come let us call our sons and your sons and our women and your women and ourselves and yourselves, then let us be earnest in prayer, and invoke the curse of Allah on the liars.

Renowned scholar Shah Abdul Qadir ‘Al-Quran Al-Hakim ma’a tafseer Mozeh Al-Quran’ writes in explanation of this verse on the sideline that “holy Prophet (SAW) took with him Hazrat Fatima (S.A.), Hazrat Imam Hassan (A.S.), Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S.) and Maula Ali (A.S.) to the field of Mubahila. Christians accepting their defeat avoided Mubahila. In this way, flag of monotheism elevated and flag of taghot went low.”

The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya expressed his regrets that Muslims of the world have forgotten the greatest day of Mubahila and as a result they are being confronted with host of problems. To get rid of these problems, they have to stick to Muhammad (SAW) and Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.).
