Kashmir int’l issue which only solution is plebiscite, Moosavi By: Salman Alvi RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: Chief of the Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya Quaid-i-Millat-i-Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that Kashmir issue is not only a regional but international issue the only solution to which is plebiscite keeping to the desires of Kashmiris, any other solution if imposed would not be durable.
He stated this while talking to a representative delegation of TNFJ Kashmir Council that called on him at the head of Syed Riaz Kazmi, Khurshid Kazmi, Zulfiqar Kazmi and Syed Ijaz Bokhari. He said raising voice against oppression is the basic right, even if the oppressor is sitting besides you, it is obligatory to stop him from oppression and brutality. He said remaining in confrontation with the oppressed is the singular life-style of Khasan-e-Khuda (selected person of Allah) while foundation of the rule of the oppressed is extremism, oppression and brutality. He said Allah Says in Surah-e-Nisa: Allah does not like calling for evil thing but on which oppression is carried out. Agha Moosavi said Muslims were being suppressed in India that is why Pakistan came into being as a result of presenting sacrifices of honour, respect, life and wealth. At that time, he said, Kashmir should had been annexed to Pakistan under the division formula in the Subcontinent because majority population of Kashmiris was Muslim but Maharaja Kashmir keeping the enmity with Muslims in mind announced annexation with India and from that day Kashmiris are busy in their struggle for independence. He said since 1989 to-date thousands of Kashmiris have sacrificed their live, women have been widowed and children have become orphan, thousands of young and elders are bearing the brunt of jail but they did not go back on their point of view. The TNFJ chief said the most important point is that India herself had taken the Kashmir issue to the United Nations and more than half a dozen United Nations Resolutions in this connection are a part of the history and could not be denied but after that the Banya forget all about it and did not stop calling it as her Atoot-Ang. He said at present three different options are being presented with the objective to sabotage the struggle of Kashmiris and stopping the Kashmir issue from becoming an international issue. Therefore, he said, all States in general, and Pakistan in particular, are under the obligation not to backtrack from their original point of view because plebiscite is the only solution to this issue and there is no other alternative to it. The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Hamid Moosavi said India was using all its tactics but a Momin (believer) could not be stung from one hole twice. He said India had imposed three wars on us, and we have lost one half of the motherland in the process. The President has given his mind for continuation of dialogue with an open heart so as to improve relations with the neighbouring State but India took it other way round and began construction on Baglihar Dam. He said it is necessary for the whole nation to prove that Kashmir is not an issue belong to Kashmiris only but is an international issue and the desires of Kashmiris will have to be respected so as to restore peace in the region. He termed the statements of President and the Prime Minister voice of the nation in which they have said that friendship could not be achieved, dialogue could not succeed, and relations could not be improved with India without development on Kashmir. He said the live nations never go back on their targets and points of view.
