TNFJ announces Day of grief on Zulhijjah 7 By: Salman Alvi RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Syed Hamid Moosavi has said knowledge is great and the strongest weapon which has been deemed basis and foundation of religion and shariah while Prophets, Messengers and Divine Chosen personalities were sent laced and decorated with the same. From among these a holy personality is Muhammad bin Ali bin Al-Hussain (A.S.) who had height of knowledge and discernment. (in the same connection he is known with the title of Baqir-ul-Uloom – the one who split open the knowledge). Agha Moosavi said the root cause of the grave oppression – terrorism – with which the world is confronted this day, is ignorance. He said it is necessary for eradication of terrorism that everyone adorns himself with knowledge. The world of oppression, barbarism and tyranny is darkness, and this could be turned into light through this great weapon. Zulhijjah 7 is the martyrdom anniversary of this great human being Hazrat Imam Muhammad Baqir (A.S.) which will be observed as Youm-e-Gham (Day of Grief) in Pakistan also, like other global parts and thus by extending condolence and consolation in the respected court of Khanwada-e-Risalat (SAW), commitment would be made to achieve knowledge and acting upon it. Moreover, solidarity with the oppressed world would be expressed. Meanwhile, TNFJ Central Youm-e-Gham Committee has been formed to lay programs marking the occasion throughout the country. Syed Bu Ali Mehdi has been nominated as convener while Syed Wajihul Hassan Kazmi as Secretary of the committee. END |
