Majales mark m-anniversary of Imam Taqi (a.s.) in Mashhad, Qom

HOLY QOM, Iran: The martyrdom anniversary of Hazret-e-Imam Muhammad bin Ali Taqi Al-Jawwad (a.s.), the ninth infallible descendant of holy Prophet Hazret-e-Muhammad (s.w.), was observed in Iran with due respect on 29 Ze’qad.

In this connection, flocks of mourners visited the holy shrines of Hazret-e-Imam Ali Ar-Reza (a.s.) and his sister Hazret-e-Fatimeh Al-Masoumeh (a.s.) in the holy cities of Msh’had and Qom.

There they arranged majales, performed matam, recited dirges and offered deep condolence to the imam (a.s.) and his sister (a.s.) on the martyrdom anniversary of his son and her nephew Hazret-e-Imam Muhammad bin Ali Al-Jawwad (a.s.).

Offices of Marajay, mosques and husseiniyaat also organized majales marking the occasion.

A majles-e-aza was held at the office of Ayatullah Mirza Jawwad At-Tabrezi known as Dar-us-Siddiqa Ash-Shahida (a.s.). Large number of people including scholars and intellectuals attended. Speakers threw light on different aspects of the holy life of the Imam (a.s.) who was martyred at the age of 25 years.
