Saudis celebrate Iran cultural week By: Abdulali RIYADH, Saudi Arabia: For the first time, Saudi Arabia’s King Fahd Culture Center celebrates Iran's cultural week beginning from Saturday January 1. According to reports Friday Iran's Culture Minister Ahmad Masjed Jamei and Saudi Minister of Culture and Information Faud Abd Al-Salam Farsi will officially inaugurate the ceremonies. There will be an exhibition on Quran manuscripts and calligraphy, a Persian carpet show and a fair on Iranian handicrafts at King Fahd Culture Center until January 8. The event aims at bolstering Iran-Saudi Arabia mutual cooperation, particularly in the field of culture. END |
