Imam Baqer (p), Hazrat Muslim (p) mejales culminate in Tehran By: Sheikh Muhammad Khurasani TEHRAN, Iran: In commemoration of the martyrdom anniversaries of Hazret-e-Imam Muhammad Baqer (a.s.) and Hazret-e-Muslim bin Aqeel (a.s.), a three-day annual mejales-e-aza program concluded in Tehran.
The three-day program which began after evening prayers on 7th night of Zolhej – the night of martyrdom anniversary of Hazret-e-Imam Baqer (a.s.) – ended on 9th night of Zolhej, which marks the martyrdom anniversary of Hazret-e-Muslim bin Aqeel (a.s.), the emissary of Hazret-e-Imam Hossein (a.s.) to Kufa.
Thousands of black-dressed mourners attended the program that was held at the shrine of Shah Abdol Azim Al-Hassany in the Iranian capital city of Tehran. They by performing azadari rituals offered their condolence to the holy Prophet (s.w.).
