Iranians perform Arafah Day rites By: Sheikh Muhammad Khurasani
TEHRAN, Iran: Thousands of Iranians observed on 9th Zolhej the rites of “Doa-i-Yaum-i-Arafah,” or the Arafah Day supplication, with due fervor. Recitation of Arafah Day supplication after Asr (afternoon) prayer on 9th Zolhej is highly recommended by traditions of infallible A’immah (a.s.) from the progeny of holy Prophet (s.w.). The rites were performed at the holy shrines, mosques and hosainiyaat followed by prayers for Muslim world.
