Wilayat foundation of religion and shariah: QMJ Moosavi

RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that Wilayat is the basis of religion and Shariah, certificate of completion of religion and ladder of nearness to Allah.

He stated this while addressing Mehfil-e-Murtazvi on the second day of Wilayat Week here on Sunday. He said Allah ordered the Holy Prophet (SAW) to announce Wilayat on way back from Hujjatul Wida (holy Prophet’s last pilgrimage), therefore, he got prepared a special pulpit at a deserted place called Ghadeer and announced before a large gathering of over one lakh Hajj pilgrims companions that “Ali is the Master of those, I am the Master of whom”.

He said every person of Muhammad (SAW) and Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.) is placed on the highest status of Wilayat after Holy Prophet (SAW), therefore, when Christians of Najran could not be convinced through arguments and even the holy Quran, at that time those holy personalities whom the Holy Prophet (SAW) took with him to the ‘Field of Mubahila” that included Hazrat Ali (A.S.), Hazrat Fatima (S.A.) and Hasnain (A.S.).

Hamid Moosavi said these are such holy personalities that courtesy of whom prays are transformed into reality, these are the personalities who rule the hearts of the people and their love and devotion is poured into hearts, that is why the oppressive and brutal elements lie every era were utilising all their tactics in stopping from the path led by Aulia Allah the fresh example of which is Iraq after Kashmir, Palestine and Afghanistan. But, he said, these elements could neither vacate the hearts of the oppressed people from their love nor they could divert them from the right path.

The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya, who is also the chief of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Hamid Moosavi said commitment should be announced to tread in the path of Muhammad (SAW) and Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.), follow their principles and continue the mission of holy personalities by observing the Wilayat Week with complete religious devotion, respect and enthusiasm from 18-25 Zulhijjah in the beloved motherland like other global parts for getting rid of all problems, oppression, brutality and suppression. Moreover, complete solidarity should be expressed with the oppressors and the have-nots the world over, he added.
