Day of Piety on Jan. 11, announces TNFJ By: Salman Alvi RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, chief of the Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan has announced to observe the martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Imam Muhammad Taqi (A.S.) as “Youm-e-Taqwa” (Day of Piety) on Tuesday, January 11, throughout the country. In a statement issued here on Saturday, he appealed the all countrymen to observe the Youm-e-Taqwa with respect and dignity marking the martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Imam Muhammad Taqi (A.S.) so as to express their solidarity with the oppressed world and hatred against the world of oppression and brutality proving on the world that oppression and brutality could be thwarted by patience and forbearance. He said Majalis-e-Aza should be organised on this occasion to express condolence in the respected court of Risalat (SAW). Meanwhile, a Central Committee has been formed to organise programmes of Youm-e-Taqwa. Allama Waqar Taqvi has been nominated as Convener and M.D. Haideri as Secretary of this Committee. END |
