Aza-e-Fatimiya programs kick off across Pak

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Three-day Aza-e-Fatimiya Majalis began throughout the country on Saturday to mark the Shahadat (martyrdom) of Khatoon-e-Jannat Hazrat Syeda Fatima Zahra (S.A.) on the call of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi.

The day began with recitation from Holy Quran in mosques after Fajr prayers while Majalis-e-Aza, seminars and conferences were held at Imambargahs and Aza Khanas, addressing which scholars and speakers said that according to Poet of the East Allama Ibal “Madraan Ra Uswah-e-Kamil Batool (S.A.)”.

In the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad like other cities and town, different religious and Matmi organisations organised Aza-e-Fatimiya programmes on the first day.

Addressing the first Majlis at Masjid and Imambargah Ahle Bait (A.S.) Wah Cantt, Allama Syed Hussain Muqaddasi said uswah-e-Batool (S.A.) is the best example to follow for women at large.

Allama Shaikh Ijaz Hussain Modarris said the womenfolk should practically follow the teachings of Dukhtar-e-Rasool (S.A.) because the materialism and ignorance has pushed the society into moral and spiritual disarray. Later Matamdari and Noha Khwani was performed by Dasta Pursadaran Babul Hawaij (A.S.).

Maulana Nasir Notak, Maulana Malik Ijlal Haider Al-Haideri, Maulana Tabassum Abbas Kazmi and Zakir Nasir Abbas addressed Majlis-e-Shahadat at Imambargah Qasr-e-Abbas Hastal that followed Matamdari.

A Majlis-e-Aza was held at Imambargah Qasr-e-Zainab (S.A.) Pir Garohti Kamalabad under the auspices of Mukhtar Force Rawalpindi Cantt and Aza-e-Fatimiya Committee TNFJ Cantt.

Allama Syed Mohsin Ali Hamdani addressing the Majlis said Islam has blessed the female gender with honour and dignity that is not visible in any other religion. In the past woman was the symbol of obscenity and misfortune and was used to be buried alive or sold out like a saleable commodity but the pious religion of Islam and Shariat-e-Muhammadi declared such concept as evil and guaranteed individual and collective rights to her like man.

On the contrary, he said, international colonial powers, Zionists and Hindus considered her a source of entertainment. He said the westernised woman is unaware of this heinous conspiracy and has become a tool in the hands of capitalist colonial powers and thus have fallen victim to debauchery.

Allama Basharat Imami in his address said Islam highlighted woman’s dignity courtesy the blessings of Hazrat Fatima Zahra (S.A.) and declared the mother’s lap as the first teaching institution while declared her feet a source for reaching the heaven.

Central Secretary Information of the TNFJ Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi said Khatoon-e-Jannat (S.A.) is that infallible whose mother is Syeda-e-Bataha, father Sarda-e-Ambiya Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa (SAW), husband Sher-e-Khuda Hazrat Ali Al-Murtaza (A.S.), daughters Zainab (S.A.) and Umm-e-Kulsoom (S.A.) are role model and sons Hasanain (A.S.) refuge of the oppressed world, while she herself was declared Mistress of Women of World. Hazrat Zahra (S.A.) is distinguished in every field of life including piety, piousness, purity, infallibility, worship, dignity and magnificence.

Zaidi demanded from the government to give full coverage to the country-wide programmes of Aza-e-Fatimiya on the media and present special programmes in this connection on the electronic media.

A resolution adopted on the occasion expressed grave concern that at present the whole world of humanity was confronted with oppression and open terrorism and the world could not be made a hub of peace without rooting out the same. The resolution said that the United Nations, OIC, ICC, and other international organisations, particularly Muslim heads of State are under the obligation to fulfil the norms of justice and fair-play, avoid discrimination and carry out practical struggle for resolving the problems faced by the have-nots and the oppressed, bloody holi in Afghanistan should be stopped, Government of Pakistan should ensure effective implementation of Anti-Terrorism Act which is being sabotaged by some unseen powers.

The resolution expressed grave concern that neither the assassins of Bari Imam incident were yet arrest nor a probe Tribunal was set up by the Government while compensation to the bereaved families and the injured was not also paid.

The participants resolved to offer any sacrifice demanded of them for the rights of the Maktab-e-Tashayyo on the call of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Syed Hamid Moosavi. Maulana Salim Haider Al-Haideri, Zakir Sajid Ali Sajid, Zakir Shaukat Hayat Nayyar, Zakir Zawwar Hussain Qamar and others also addressed the Majlis-e-Aza.
