AL-QATEEF, Saudi Arabia: Revering Sha’a’er Allah, or the signs of Allah, and expressing great devotion for Maulatana Bedh’a tol Mostafa (p), or part of Prophet (p), As-Sayyedah Az-Zahraa (p), special mourning programs were organized across eastern region of Saudi Arabia to mark her martyrdom Anniversary.

Such commemorations are banned by the Saudi government in other parts of the kingdom except in the oil-rich eastern region that is dominated by Momineen.

Majales al-azaiyah were held in mosques, husseiniyaat and ma’atm attended by throngs of Fatimi mourners.

Al-Ghadir Council organized a majles al-aza on July 9 at Al-Imam Zein Al-Abideen (p) Mosque in Tarout marking the occasion. Sheikh Muhammad Al-Manamiyyeen addressed while Husseini dirge-chanter Zaky Fardan recited dirges.

Sheikh Hussein Al-Khamis addressed a majles al-aza at Al-Imam Al-Hasan (p) Mosque in Al-Jaroudiyah, Al-Qatif on July 9 under arrangements of the committee of the mosque.

In Al-Jabeyl town of Al-Ahsaa, Maukeb As-Sayyed Al-Khoei revived the occasion on July 7-8 at husseiniyah Al-Alawiyah with special participation by Bahrain’s renowned husseini elegists Mortadha Al-Halvagi and Aba Dhar Al-Halwagi as well as the Maukeb’s dirge-chanters.

Those who addressed the majles included Hussein Al-Yousaf, Abu Jawwad Muhammad Al-Baqshy, Houd Al-Imrani and Ali Issa Ash-Shayeb.

Sheikh Abduljalil Al-Makrani began the majles with recitation of Al-Qera’ah Al-Husseiniyah.
