TNFJ declares Tarhim Day for victims of Ghotki, Quetta accidents

RAWALPINDI, Pakistan - July 14: Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has announced to observe “Youm-e-Tarhim” on Friday July 15 throughout the country to express solidarity with the bereaved families of those killed and injured in horrible trains crash near Ghotki and accident of a bus of pilgrims returning home from ziaraat near Quetta.

In a statement issued here from the Tehreek’s headquarters, Moosavi said the world is Dar-ul Bala (house of trials) which has been termed prison for a momin. Allah has created death and life so that it be known whose deeds are best. He said there are two reasons of problems and difficulties: height of ranks, which is for prophets, messengers, righteous people, sahaba kibar and holy personalities; expiation for slips and sins, which is for momineen (believers), have-nots, deprived and oppressed. A momin is always surrounded by problems and hardships, he should not be unnerved rather turn to Allah by repenting for his sins and faults in such a time.

The TNFJ chief said the whole nation is grieved for Wednesday’s shocking collision of three trains which left more than 250 passengers dead and hundreds other wounded, similarly accident of the bus of pilgrims who were returning home from ziaraat-e-moqaddesa near Quetta. Therefore, Youm-e-Tarhim will be observed on Friday July 15 for high ranks of the dead, early recovery of the injured and sympathy with the bereaved families.

On this occasion, Quran Khwani and Majalis-e-Tarahim will be organized during Friday congregations and at religious sites thus prayers would be offered that may Allah keep whole humanity, Pakistan and its habitants safe from such kind of incidents, calamities, and accidents.

Meanwhile, TNFJ’s central committee has been formed to lay programs of Youm-e-Tarhim. Hujjatul Islam Allama Sadeqi was nominated its convener while Maulana Qalb-e-Abbas Bukhari as secretary of the committee.
