RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: Ayyam-e-Hurmat-e-Niswan (Days of Women Dignity) programmes announced by Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi in connection with the Wiladat Purnoor of Khatoon-e-Jannat Hazrat Syeda Fatima Zahra (S.A.) began throughout the country like other global parts on Wednesday.

Mahafil-e-Milad, conferences, and seminars were held in all small and big cities and towns of the country including Federal Capital Islamabad, Rawalpindi Region. Ulema, waizeen and zakireen in their addresses on the occasion declared the Uswah-e-Fatima Zahra (S.A.) a guarantee to the Hurmat-e-Niswan.

Allama Syed Mohsin Ali Hamdani addressing the first session of Ayyam Hurmat-e-Niswan under the auspices of Anjuman Ghulaman-e-Abu Talib (A.S.) said, character of Fatima (S.A.) is a beacon of light for women at large in this era of ignorance and misguidance. He said the dignity of Dukhtar-e-Paighambar (SAW) could be gauged from the fact that the Holy Prophet (SAW) used to stand up in her respect and had termed Fatima (S.A.) piece of his heart that proves that Hazrat Zahra (S.A.) is the Shareek-e-Kaar-e-Risalat without which the chapter of guidance could not be completed.

A resolution adopted on the occasion said the government is making tall claims of crackdown against the banned organisations but the nation fails to understand that innocent labourers, hawkers, ulema of religious institutions, and office-bearers of patriotic organisations were being arrested and harassed but the big reptiles of the banned organisations were roaming about freely that is hypocrisy and duplicity on the part of government Administration.

The resolution called upon the powers that be not to mislead the people and should tighten the noose around the real culprits and the innocent people should be set free forthwith.

The resolution while strongly condemning the government insensitivity regarding Bari Imam incident lamented that neither the culprits of the incident were arrested so far nor the government set up Probe Tribunal nor compensated the bereaved families of martyrs and the injured. The resolution called upon President Pervez Musharraf to take personal notice of this critical situation and order to fulfil norms of justice and fair-play regarding all incidents of terrorism including the Bari Imam incident and also get it investigated that which are the powers that were sabotaging the steps to root out terrorism and were engaged in time-pass instead.
