Lebanese Shiia Council: Israel causes instability in Mideast

BEIRUT, Lebanon: Israel is the root for instability in the Middle
East and it rejects peace and the implementation of international
resolutions.
This was remarked by chairman of the Islamic Shiia Higher Council in
Lebanon Sheikh Abdol-Amir Qabalan.
Qabalan underlined that the region will still be in a state of
instability if the Palestinian people do not regain their rights in
establishing their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital and
the occupied Syrian Golan's lands as well as Lebanese Shebaa farms are
not restored to their legitimate owners.

BEIRUT, Lebanon: Lebanon’s Islamic Shia Council Deputy Chairman Sheikh Abdulamir Qabalan has called on the new government to build its work mechanism based on the Taif Agreement stressing importance of establishing best relations with Syria in the interest of both sides.
