Bari Imam Islamabad Incident was very tragic and heartrending
event. Chief of TNFJ Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali
Shah Moosavi was scheduled to deliver address to a Majlis-e-Aza there;
and as soon as there was an announcement ‘he is coming to address’ a
powerful bomb went off. Despite all this Moosavi not only addressed
the Majlis-e-Aza but also led the Azadari procession monitoring its
safe culmination. Hamid Moosavi is regularly addressing this Majlis
for the last quarter a century. Anti-motherland lobbies tried to give
it different colors; one of them is daily Dawn which published an
article titled: “Sectarianism: failure of security forces”. Like many
others, me too expressed concern over it being a reader. I telephoned,
talked to Editor daily Dawn Mr Ziauddin and protested over this
injustice. Mr Ziauddin said to me, articles are published; you should
answer this item, I promise you to publish your piece of writing
‘word-to-word’. But when I dispatched the article in response, neither
it was given due place i.e. article segment rather it was put in the
letters section, nor its original text was published.
The text published in Dawn, and the original script, are as under
respectively:

BARI IMAM INCIDENT AND ANALYSES
CONTRARY TO REALITIES
By: Wajih-ul-Hassan Syed
Shocked to read an article captioned “Sectarianism: Failure of
security forces” wrote by columnist Anwer Sindhu and published in the
June 10 issue of Daily DAWN Islamabad. It was more painful to know
that this columnist who analysed the Bari Imam incident, as he himself
admitted, had reached after two days of the incident and while
analysing the most sensitive topic without knowing or asking anything
from anyone based his write-up on imagination and trampled the high
values of journalism rather labelled a characteristic and moderate
personality, enjoying a high status within and outside the community,
as radical thus violating the moral frontiers.
The analysis of the columnist is not based on realities for reasons
mentioned above that he was out of the country at the time of blast.
There is a saying that there is a difference of four “angusht” (about
three inches) between the truth and a lie, what is heard is a lie and
what is seen is truth. By terming the Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha
Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi radical, the columnist, no doubt, is
speaking the language of chief of the international Taghoot. A Muslim
who follows the religion cannot be radical irrespective to his
belonging to any Maktab or a country. Islam is commensurate with
integrity, faith and peace and the columnist is either unaware of the
personality of Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi or is biased otherwise
he would not have used wrong wordings with his name.
It is a recognised fact that Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya is the only
representative organisation of Maktab-e-Tashayyo that is neither
violent nor radical; if it had been so then it would have been
declared restricted. The Bari Imam incident that took place in
Islamabad on May 27 is not the first incident in the twin cities
rather many incidents had taken place out of which reference of only
two is necessary. One is Masjid Shah-e-Najaf incident and the other is
assassination of Aun Muhammad Rizvi. Had Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha
Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi not tackled the post-incident situation on
both the occasions, then Rawalpindi and Islamabad would have turned
into ashes. Had he not controlled the zaireen and participants of
Majlis-e-Aza gathered at Bari Imam from all over the country after the
worst incident in the history of the Federal Capital on May 27, then
the flames of the fire may have touched the corridors of powers. A
private TV channel telecast the news to the whole world that Agha Syed
Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi kept on sitting at the place of incident, he
not only addressed the Majlis-e-Aza but also led the Azadari
procession and monitored its safe conclusion, and owing to his
presence there, Pakistan remained saved from being set on fire.
There is duplicity in the analysis of the columnist. Writing such a
personality as radical, his pen would have shattered. By radical if it
is meant to follow the Godly principles and religion, then the Anbia
Karam (prophets) and their pious inheritors also followed that path,
were they radicals also? Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, who
according to the columnist was scheduled to make a rare appearance, is
regularly addressing this Majlis for the last quarter a century. This
year also when his name was called to address, the blast took place
instantly. Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi goes wherever he has to
go, he is Mard-e-Zindan as well as Mard-e-Maidan. However, he is not
visible to those journalists who are fond of corridors of powers and
follow yellow journalism, because be’sal faqeer ala babil ameer that
faqeer is worst who goes at the doors of rich. The Mazar Mubarik of
Hazrat Bari Imam was given in the control of Auqaf Department in Ayub
era. The Bari Imam’s Gaddi-Nashin mentioned by the columnist is not a
Syed and belongs to another province and he always said that he was a
devotee of Bari Sarkar and his family. That is why he was buried in
the other province. While Moosavi has neither claimed to be
Gaddi-Nashin nor he joined such a race rather he always feels honoured
for being a Boria-Nashin under Al-Faqaro Fakhari.
Family of Bari Sarkar and Agha Hamid Ali Shah is the same; Bari Imam
is his forefather in relationship. The columnist has provided the
proof of his unawareness and low knowledge while analysing terrorism.
He should be aware that as per saying of Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha
Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, a terrorist keeps no Maslak or a country;
he is only a terrorist and this 20-year old point of view of his, is
being repeated today by powers that be and the journalistic circles.
By the Grace of God there is no sectarianism in Pakistan. God forbid,
if it happens then this fire would even reach the place where the said
columnist sits and writes columns.
Efforts are being made for the last 25 years to divide Muslim States
into sects, fan sectarianism, and pitch the brother against brother
but the Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has
thwarted the enemy conspiracy through mutual brotherhood and
understanding and such condemnable designs would also be thwarted in
future. If raising voice against the oppressors is radicalism, then
like righteous persons of every era, Agha Hamid Moosavi is also a
front-runner in saying Kalma-e-Haq because he is following the saying
of Imam Barhaq and Muslim Khalifa-e-Rashid Hazrat Ali ibne Abi Talib (A.S.)
that goes: Be enemies of the oppressor and help the oppressed.
Rasool-e-Akram (SAW) during the short span of last 10 years fought 105
wars in defence of Islam, is he a radical in the eyes of the said
columnist?
Giving a wrong analysis on the topic of sectarianism, the columnist
declared the highlighting the sacrifice of Nawasa-e-Rasool
increasingly at PTV during Muharram as one of the reasons behind Bari
Imam incident that unveils his enmity with Syed-us-Shuhada. While on
the contrary, set aside Muslims, every human being is imbibed to the
blessings of Hussain (A.S.) who belongs to all, who belongs to Allah,
because Imam Aali Muqam highlighted and defended the whole human
sanctity along with Islam. Not aware of facts, the columnist
expressing his surprise has admitted the fact that Sunni-Shia Muslims
fighting on the issue of Khilafat assemble at the mazars of religious
personalities. He should be aware that not only on mazars, they are
together from nursery to offices, from creation of the motherland to
defence of religion, motherland, and from home to Bait Allah Sharif
for Haj rituals without any discrimination on the basis of colour,
creed, region and language. As far as the differences are concerned,
the Holy Prophet (SAW) has declared these a blessing for the Ummah.
Hazrat Abu Bakr, Hazrat Omer and Hazrat Usman not only consulted
Khalifa-tul-Muslimeen Hazrat Ali (A.S.) but Hazrat Omer stated at more
than 70 places that God forbid, a difficult moment would not come to
me, if Ali (A.S.) is not there to resolve it.
The columnist should be aware that Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya is
the only representative organisation of the Maktab-e-Tashayyo that had
took over Islamabad Secretariat but did not adopt a violent policy
rather police brutality took the life of our worker Muhammad Hussain
Shad. Then 8-month long agitation was launched from the platform of
Hussaini Mohaz in the era of Zia’s martial law in which 150 Ahle
Sunnat and 8 Christians courted arrest along with Ahle Tashayyo
expressing their solidarity with the TNFJ. The most important feature
of this long agitation was that no cart was overturned and no shop or
vehicle was set on fire.
Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya is identified through its exemplary
policy of peace and tranquillity under which Hafta-e-Wahdat and
Akhuwat is observed in the month of Rabiul Awwal and all Sunni-Shia
brethren observe the memory of Nana and Nawasa. The columnist should
have obtained correct information first before giving his comments on
the Bari Imam incident. Attaching any innocent person with sinful
persons is oppression. As far as the personality of Quaid-i-Millat
Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi is concerned, his moderation
is crystal clear. The columnist should be aware that the way Agha Syed
Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi presented his suggestions to every government
for rooting out terrorism and presented Moosavi Peace Formula
comprising 850 pages highlighting reasons and measures to root out
terrorism in the Supreme Court of Pakistan when the then Chief Justice
Sajjad Ali Shah had taken suo moto notice of terrorism. President
Pervez Musharraf had enforced Anti-Terrorism Act keeping Moosavi Peace
Formula in view and put restrictions on radical organisations that
were pushing the country towards fire of terrorism on the basis of
foreign aid, all these historic and courageous steps owe to the
personality of Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi. It is a separate
issue that the Anti-Terrorism Act introduced by President Musharraf is
not implemented and the restricted groups are not only working with
new names rather are included in political alliances, government and
opposition committees and government Councils. Journalists like the
said columnist have played a big role in promoting such groups the
biggest proof of which is that he has indecently and heinously tried
to make ‘mehram’ ‘mujrim’ with putting only one dot while analysing
the Bari Imam incident.
A poet says:
