HOLY MASHHAD, Iran: Millions in Iran observed the martyrdom anniversary of Bano-i-Islam Hazret-e-Fatimeh Zahra (AS), the beloved only daughter of holy Prophet Hazret-e-Muhammad (SW), on 13 of Jamadi-ol Avval.

Marking the sad occasion, marasem-e-azadari were held at holy shrines of Hazret-e-Imam Ali bin Mousa Ar-Reza (AS) in holy city of Mashhad, Hazret-e-Fatimeh Al-Masumeh (AS) in holy city of Qom, and imam-zadgan, mosques and hosainiaat in different cities and towns.

Condolences were presented in the respected court of Imam Ali bin Mousa Ar-Reza (AS), Hazret-e-Fatimeh Al-Masumeh (AS) and the Imam of Era Hazret-e-Imam Mehdi (AS).

Speakers threw light in detail on different life aspects of the Mistress of Women of World and chief of ladies of paradise Hazret-e-Fatimeh (AS) about whom the holy Prophet Hazret-e-Muhammad (SW) had said: “He who hurts Fatimeh, hurts me, and he who pleases her, pleases me.” Her moseebah was also depicted causing floods of tears to roll down cheeks of the mourners.

Nohay (elegies) were chanted and matam (chest and head beating) was performed to signify grief on the martyrdom of Hazret-e-Fatimeh (AS), spouse of Hazret-e-Imam Ali (AS).

She, according to her will to Hazret-e-Imam Ali (AS), was buried in the darkness of night in presence of her two sons Hazret-e-Imam Hasan (AS) and Hazret-e-Imam Hosain (AS), Hazret-e-Aqeel (AS), and Prophet (SW)’s companions Hazret-e-Salman Farsi (RA), Hazret-e-Meqdad (RA), Hazret-e-Abu-zar (AS), and Hazret-e-Ammar Yasser (AS).
