RAWALPINDI: Meesan Tammar, Convener of the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan’s World Chehlum Committee of Shuhada-e-Bari Imam Incident has said those who committed terrorism at the Darbar of Hazrat Bari Imam Mashadi were the agents and tools of international colonial powers who have unveiled themselves by desecrating Sha’air Allah and Kitaab Allah and the Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has left the decision of holy blood of the Shuhada-e-Bari Imam on Allah whose wrath is soundless. He stated this while addressing the condolence meeting of elite from Rawalpindi and Islamabad held here on Monday.

He expressed his grave concern that more than a month has passed to Bari Imam incident but the government has done nothing except issuing hollow statements. He said the government announcement of monetary help for the bereaved families of Shuhada and the injured has not yet been implemented while the government could not arrest the real culprits that smacks of government’s failure. He made it clear that our history is replete with Shahadats but we have kept the ideology and motherland supreme in every era. He said our peaceful policy is actually our gentlemanliness and friendship with motherland but we would like to make it clear that we have never bargained on our belief and rights and would not do or let anyone do so in future also.

Meesam Tammar strongly demanded from the government to improve the law and order situation on the occasion of Universal Chehlum of Shuhada-e-Bari Imam, Shuhada-e-Masjid Madinatul Ilm Karachi and La’al Shah Sorasi being observed throughout the country on July 1, arrest the culprits of Bari Imam incident forthwith and give them exemplary punishment, and unveil the real hand behind this incident. The elite of Rawalpindi and Islamabad assured on the occasion to organise special programmes in the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad on July 1 in connection with Universal Chehlum of Shuhada-e-Bari Imam incident.
