By the Grace of Allah (SWT) and with your help and support the elections were free and fair. Thanks for your confidence in the newly elected team. We are trying our best to manage Masjid, Imam-Bargah and your centre so that it fulfils all our religious, social, cultural and educational needs of our wider community.

In addition to the regular prayers in the Masjid, this centre organises Muharam majalis, Ramzan-ul-Mubarik functions and also provides for Islamic education and religious celebrations. Please pray to Allah (SWT) that all of us as one community should successfully continue this important mission.

After taking charge of the accounts we have learnt that the property consisting on the Masjid, the Imama-Bargah and the centre has an outstanding loan of £35,748.94. That technically makes the moneylenders the owners of our Masjid and communal property while we are left with no option but to keep paying the interest and service the loan.

This is a desperate situation for the reason that Allah (SWT) strictly prohibits interest, yet the shortage of funds leaves our community in clear defiance of Islamic value by subjecting a Masjid to payments of Interest. Please keep in mind that this Charity does not belong to any individual and Allah (SWT) is the One and Only owner of this property.

However, as all of use share tits benefits and so would our next generations, the present situation make each and every one of us responsible to bring to an end this pathetic business of paying interest on a Masjid.

Now that you know the facts, surely you would realize as to know urgently your contributions are needed. Please note it is your participation and not the size of your contribution that matters. At this time of dire need your little help makes a lot of difference.
