Big rallies, majalis mark universal ‘Prayer Day’

RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: Universal Youm-e-Dua (Prayer Day) was observed on Friday on the call of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi to pay homage to martyrs of TNFJ Bari Imam Incident, Karachi incidents and all martyrs who fell victim to terrorism in Kashmir, Palestine, Afghanistan, Iraq, Nigeria, Lebanon, Yemen, Saudi Arabia and other places.

Like other global parts, khutaba in their addresses at Friday congregations and ulema, zakireen and waizeen in their addresses at Majalis-e-Aza in all cities of Pakistan including Federal Capital Islamabad and Rawalpindi prayed for the upgradation of martyrs’ status and early recovery of those injured in these incidents.

They demanded from the powers that be to arrest the culprits of Bari Imam, Madina-tul-Ilm Mosque Karachi incidents and other martyrs, and give them exemplary punishment. They also called upon the world organisations to play their role in getting the bloodshed, oppression and brutality by the international colonial powers and their agents stopped in Kashmir, Palestine, Afghanistan, Iraqi, Saudi Arabia and other States.

Quran Khwani and collective dua was organised to pay homage to the martyrs after Fajr (dawn) prayers at TNFJ headquarters in connection with the Youm-e-Dua. Central Spokesman of the Tehreek Syed Qamar Zaidi in his address on the occasion paid tributes to the marryrs of Bari Imam and all other incidents. He said those who kissed martyrdom in Aza-e-Hussain were very lucky, and the whole nation is equally grieved on the incidents. The history of the oppressed stands witness that the oppressed in every era have defeated the oppressor with the weapon of patience. He said the Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Syed Hamid Moosavi has termed all martyrs of Bari Imam incident as pieces of his heart and by controlling the situation by preaching patience and forbearance despite that great loss to the nation has proved that we keep the honour and dignity of the religion, motherland and the people supreme over all other things.

Therefore, he said those who lost their life in way of Hussain (A.S.) were dearer to Maula than us. Those who have been given a new lease of life are under the obligation to utilise their energy for the pious mission of ‘Wila’ and ‘Aza’ and for the solidarity and development of the motherland in a positive manner.

He said the objective of the Youm-e-Dua is when there is deprivation and disappointment all along, dua is the last hope and beacon of light. He demanded from the government to arrest the culprits of Bari Imam incident and assassins of all other martyrs forthwith, give them exemplary punishment and pay the damages to the bereaved families and provide special treatment facilities to the injured lying in hospitals.

In Islamabad, a praying mourning rally was taken out from the shrine of respected father of Hazrat Bari Imam, Sakhi Mehmoud Badshah Kazmi Al-Mash’hadi, near Aabpara led by different scholars, speakers and religious leaders. Reaching at Aabpara Chowk, President TNFJ district Islamabad Allama Basharat Hussain Imami addressed to the participants. He said Bari Imam Incident was the worst terrorism in the capital Islamabad through which the enemy desired to push jugular vein of Islamic World – Pakistan – into fire and blood but wisdom and discernment of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Hamid Moosavi foiled this heinous conspiracy, and we despite lifting more than half a dozen dead bodies adopted patience of Hussain (A.S.).

Meanwhile, according to reports reaching at TNFJ headquarters, Majlis-e-Aza marking the Youm-e-Dua was held at Shia Jamia Masjid Bhakkar on Friday to mourn the Bari Imam incident.

Allama Syed Ali Hussain Najafi, District President Murid Baqar Khan and other leaders addressed the Majlis. Quran Khwani and Matamdari was also organised on this occasion.

Later, a praying rally was taken out to condemn the Bari Imam incident which was led by TNFJ District President Murid Baqar Khan, Mukhtar Force District Commander Agha Ali Abid Shah and other leaders. The protestors demanded immediate arrest of the culprits and exemplary punishment for them. The rally terminated after the collective dua.

In Dhudial, Youm-e-Dua rally was taken out from Central Shia Jamia Mosque. The participants of the rally were chanting slogans condemning Bari Imam incident and demanding immediate arrest of the culprits. Allama Maqsood Raza Abid in his address presented the condolences of Bari Imam martyrs to Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Hamid Moosavi. The protestors blocked the Rawalpindi-Chakwal Road during the demonstration.

In Peshawar, Allama Ghulam Ali Zahid addressed the Youm-e-Dua gathering at Markazi Shia Jamia Mosque Qissa Khwani Bazar. The gathering adopted condemnation resolution against the incidents that took place at Bari Imam and Madina-tul-Ilm mosque Karachi. Collective dua and Fateha Khwani for martyrs was also offered. Later, a procession was taken out under the auspices of TNFJ Provincial Council Sarhad to condemn the Bari Imam and Madina-tul-Ilm mosque incidents that turned out into a protest rally after reaching Qissa Khwani Bazar where Sadiq Ali Hayat read out the message of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Hamid Moosavi regarding Youm-e-Dua. Sardar Sajjad Hussain also addressed the rally.

In Karachi, Majlis-e-Tarheem for Bari Imam and Karachi incidents was held at Aza Khana Taqvi Gulshan-e-Iqbal. TNFJ Provincial Council Sindh General Secretary Syed Waqar Hussain Taqvi and others addressed.

Majalis-e-Aza and Quran Khwani were also held in Muzaffarabad, Bagh, Mirpur, Kotli and other cities of Azad Kashmir.

In Sialkot, a praying rally was taken out at Central Mosque and Imambargah Adda Pasroonian under the auspices of TNFJ District Sialkot after Friday prayers on the occasion of Youm-e-Dua to pay homage to the martyrs of Bari Imam and Karachi incidents. Allama Syed Zulfiqar Naqvi, Syed Riffat Naqvi, and Imran Kazmi addressed. Earlier, condemnation resolution was adopted in the Friday congregation.

Majalis-e-Aza were held and protest rallies were also taken out in Lahore, Dera Ghazi Khan, Larkana, Khairpur, Kot Digi, Sakkar, Nawabshah, Mirpur Khas, Kohat, Kakul, Haripur, Kahuta, Chakwal, Mianwali, Quetta, Gilgit, and other places.
