Govt not force us to take any big line of action, TNFJ PC at meet the press

By: Salman Alvi

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan : Dr. Javed Iqbal Haideri, Chairman TNFJ Political Cell, has demanded from the government to immediately set up a tribunal for probe into Bari Imam Incident and punish the perpetratos.

Addressing a Press Conference here on Sunday, he expressed his concern that despite passage of ten days to the Bari Imam incident neither the culprits of this incident were arrested so far nor real cause behind it was unveiled. He said the government is following delaying tactics in this connection while the Federal Interior Minister is meeting banned groups on the other. What type of rulers are they? Some Federal Ministers have given unwise statements that are commensurate with adding fuel to the fire, he added.

Dr. Iqbal said, we have swallowed this great incident and irreparable loss with patience and forbearance because we keep the interest of the country and the nation dear than anything else and would thwart every conspiracy of the combined enemy by following the guiding and wise policy of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi in future also.

Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, chief of the Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya, who was target at the holy shrine of Wali-e-Kamil Hazrat Bari Sarkar that is situated near to President House and Prime Minister House, has always preached restoration of peace, unity and brotherhood, he added.

He said, we have buried 19 bodies as a result of Bari Imam incident while more than 100 were injured most of them were still undergoing treatment in different hospitals of Islamabad. We are thankful to the District Administration for extending all out cooperation but some unseen hands were getting the injured of the incident relieved from hospitals, he added.

He demanded to the government to set up a Tribunal to probe the Bari Imam incident forthwith; take strict notice of the activities of banned groups working with new names and who are included in the government committees and opposition alliances and are working by forming new action committees and wings and who are led by a Senator of the allied party of the Government of Sindh; and ensure the effective implementation of the Anti-Terrorism Act introduced by President Pervez Musharraf.

Dr. Javed Iqbal said our history stands witness that we talk about the whole Islamic World, oppressed nations and humanity. That is why TNFJ observed Youm-e-Dua for martyrs who lost their life in incidents of terrorism the world over, on last Friday June 3, he said adding that a party that claims to be the ‘Thekedar’ of Islam gave a strike call in a city and expressed solidarity with a banned organisation. Does such acts are supported by Islam and its norms of justice and fair-play? He asked.

He said the government has not yet extended any monetary help in connection with the Bari Imam incident and has restricted itself to mere statements only. The TNFJ has performed all activities in this connection so far on self-help basis. TNFJ is the only Tehreek the world over behind which there is no role of the Establishment or any other lobby, neither the Tehreek has any bank balance. The government, he said, should probe the external assistance received by the banned groups and put a ban on electoral politics using sectarian platform.

The TNFJ Political Cell Chairman said, that we want to make it clear that if the government will have a dialogue regarding Bari Imam Incident with any one else except the Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya, it would then be non-representative in character. It is a matter of concern that the government could not arrest the culprits yet and no headway has been made in investigations of the incident, he added. He expressed the hope that the government would exercise seriousness and wisdom and would not force them to take any big line of action.

TNFJ blasts IM for meeting banned outfit calling it ‘salt to wounds’

RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: A.H. Kazmi, Central Joint Secretary of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya (TNFJ) has strongly reacted over Federal Interior Minister’s meeting with subordinate wing of a banned organisation and has said that the powers that be have made it a matter of routine to sprinkle salt to the injuries of the real mourners of the Bari Imam incident instead of putting balm on their injuries.
