Imam Sajjad (a.s.) martyrdom commemoration in UK

BRADFORD, United Kingdom: Marking the
martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Imam Zain ul Abideen (a.s.), Husseini
mourners belonging to different regions who reside in the United
Kingdom extended their deep condolences to the holy Prophet (s.w.) and
his holy progeny (a.s.).
Different organizations, bodies and missions organized special majalis
and juloos (mourning sittings and processions) to commemorate the
occasion.
Besides many other venues in different parts of UK, a majlis-e-aza was
held in Bradford attended by large number of mourners. Speakers threw
light on the life, character and sufferings of the fourth imam Hazrat
Imam Zain ul Abideen As-Sajjad (a.s.), son of Hazrat Imam Hussain (a.s.).
matam was performed later.
A juloos-e-aza with replica of Zuiljinah (mount of Imam Hussain a.s.)
was taken out in slough on 6 March Sunday. The juloos which started
from Upton Lee Play Center, Wexham Road was participated by large
number of mourners from different parts of the country. Various matmi
and noha-khwan (elegists) groups performed matam-dari and noha-khwani.
