Speakers highlight holy life of Imam Sajjad (A) in US majalis

ATLANTA, USA: In commemoration of the
martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ali bin Al-Hosayn Zein-ul-Abidin (A),
huge mourning programs – majalis and juloos-e-aza - were witnessed in
many states of the country.
Addressing the majalis that held under the arrangements of various
bodies at different hosayniaat, imambargahs, mosques and Islamic
centers, speakers highlighted the great role of Imam Zein-ul-Abidin
(A) in bringing to light the holy mission of Hosayniat, how he
delivered addresses and speeches in bazaars of Kufa and Syria and
courts of Yazid (L) and Ibne Ziad (L) and thereby protected the blood
of Karbala Martyrs.
Two-day majales-e-aza (Muharram 24-25) to mark the occasion were held
at Zainabia Islamic Center Atlanta addressed by Muhammad Askari
(India) and Montazir Abbas Naqawi (Pakistan). Large number of people
attended to pay homage to the fourth infallible imam from the progeny
of holy Prophet Muhammad bin Abdullah (S), Imam Zein-ul-Abidin (A).
Similar programs were also held at Astana-e-Zahra New Jersey, Bait-Ul-Ilm
Chicago, Islamic Education Centre of Houston Texas and many other
places.
