RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: Majalis-e-Aza are being held and Matmi processions are being taken out in the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad in connection with the Aza-e-Mazloom Karbala.

Different religious and Matmi organisations organised pursadari programmes in memory of Imam Aali Muqam (A.S.) and his near and dear ones.

An Annual Majlis-e-Aza was held at Imambargah Qasr-e-Rubab under the auspices of Zakir Syed Matloob Hussain Kazmi and Mazloom Hussain Kazmi in which Azadaran participated in a large number.

Syed Qamar Zaidi, Central Secretary Information of the TNFJ, in his address on the occasion said, Imam Aali Muqam (A.S.) by refusing Bai’at to Yazid, bearing every oppression and kissing martyrdom proved through his deeds that Islam is commensurate with patience and forbearance and not with oppression and violence.

He said the eternal message of Islam which Hussain’s (A.S.) grandfather (SAW) disseminated to the human beings for ever and achieved the status of completing religion, the essence of that message is ‘Wila-e-Ali’ and ‘Aza-i-Hussain’ because Ali (A.S.) is ‘Kull-e-Iman’ and Hussain (A.S.) is ‘Kull-e-Deen’. Therefore, he said, one has to hold the Daman-e-Haider Karrar (A.S.) and Hussain ibne Ali (A.S.) to become a Momin (believer) and Deendar (religious). He said the personality of Hazrat Ali Al-Murtaza (A.S.) is the point of unity after the holy Prophet (SAW) before the whole Islamic World the piousness of which has been confirmed by Quran.

Allama Zawwar Hussain Madni while addressing the Majlis resolved that Azadaran-e-Hussain would follow the Code of Azadari announced by Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya in letter and spirit till the conclusion of Ayyam-e-Aza. Ch. Mushtaq Hussain, Maulana Javed Haideri, Maulana Riaz Hussain, Maulana Khurshid Haider Jawwadi, Zakir Ghulam Farid, and Zakir Shaukat Hayat Nayyar also addressed the Majlis.

Earlier, Zuljinah and Alam procession taken out from Mohallah Jafriabad terminated at Qasr-e-Rubab after passing through its designated route. Different Matmi Dastas performed Matamdari in the procession.

A Majlis-e-Aza was held at Mauza Karor under the auspices of Tehsil Council TNFJ Kotli Sattian President Syed Maqbool Hussain Naqvi. Allama Hussain Muqaddasi, Basharat Hussain Imami, Khateeb Fateh-e-Furat, Allama Maqsood Raza Abid, Maulana Liaquat Hussain Shirazi, Maulana Fakhar Zahidi, Zakir Ulfat Hussain Shah, Zakir Aftab Hussain Shah, Zakir Ghazanfar Shirazi and others addressed the gathering.

Prior to the majlis, Alam procession was taken out that terminated at Darbar Sharif after passing through its designated route.

A Majlis-e-Aza was held at the residence of Syed Azhar Abbas in I-10/1 Islamabad. Zakir Ghazanfar Shirazi and other zakireen addressed the Majlis followed by Matamdari and Noha-Khwani by Markazi Matmi Dasta Rawalpindi. Allama Kazim Abbas Naqvi addressed the fifth Majlis of Ashra-e-Safar held at Imambargah Babul Hawaij G-6/1, Islamabad under the auspices of Anjuman Zulfiqar-e-Haideri that followed Matamdari.
